I've been re-watching PLL, and I want to know your A theories.

Alternatively, who do you want to be A?

I know the person I suspect of being A is not the person I hope it will be.

I thought about the UPenn link but she still seems quite ingratiated into Rosewood that it seems baffling that none of Ali's best friends knew about her. However now I'm watching it all again I am realising that I had forgotten so much! I really don't want cute hapless Wren to be involved with A but I see your point and he really needs to focus on people his own age! I really hate Meredith though

I guess I expected a sob story. I didn't find either of the previous two reveals sad though!

I'd love to know what sort of sob story could make up for all of the havoc A has caused, you know, killing people and stuff.

I can't think of anyone who has true motive (maybe Jenna, but I don't think it's her), and I don't see how they can make that motive unfold in just 10 episodes...

Melissa seems to be the other fan favourite but I'm drawing a blank on motivation. She was the golden child?

If the hype is to be believed then surely it has to be a main character, one of the gang, a parent or loved one e.g. Caleb or Toby. I fear it is going to be a letdown though. I kinda what it to be one of the girls though and if I had to pick, I would choose Aria backup choice Spencer

There was an A reveal not long ago, but now we know that that person was not "AD" or "Uber A" or "Big A" or any of those other As.

I won't mention who it was, but if you go back in the thread you'll see that we've mentioned said person a few times. It was a disappointing reveal because the motive was bizarre, and there were so many holes in the storyline that made much of the "evidence" sleuthed by people previously redundant. It just seemed a sort of half-assed decision to make this person A. I still think Aria was supposed to be A initially.

Ah my bad shows how long it's been since I watched as I didn't know there was an Uber A etc! I mean to watch it but it's slow moving and 20+ 40 minute episodes so I watch for 3-4 hours and feel I'm no closer!

From upthread, there is an 'A' reveal at the end of season 2, and another at the end of 6A. The new A will be revealed in the next few months and then it's all over dumdumdaaaaa

I honestly think Marlene is too chicken to make a 'main' character A. They've done so much promo about which couples are getting together I can't imagine one of them than being a murderer... Which is why I lean towards someone like Lucas or Melissa. In it enough that you won't go 'who?!' and could reasonably have been hanging around in the background spying on them.

I want it to be a bloke though. Just for some realism amongst the absolute madness.

I'm rewatching it all now in the fear that after über a is revealed it will no longer fully make sense anymore (but did it anyway lol)

I think maya knew everything that Ali was still alive, that ezra was writing his creepy book about The Jenna Thing etc etc

Also I saw three things of interest on Twitter via the fanz...

First, there was a baby on set in the final episodes, blonde hair blue eyes (which kind of does away with the theory that Ali has been impregnated with the dark haired Emily?).
Second, Shay accidentally revealed her and Ashley wearing wedding or engagement rings on her Snapchat.
Third, I think there is a 1 year time hop...
