Mick is Shirley's child?
She was going to give him away but Sylvie, stan and Babe all brought him up as their own and told Mick that Shirley was his sister.
Buster turned out to the dad.
It could be that Sylvie just doesnt remember , or there was some incident with Babe when they were younger - she was terribly jealous of Sylvie because of Stan and treated her like dirt most of her life. The whole family are a Jeremy Kyle episode all on their own, it was very confusing when the Carters all first came in the show to know what had been going on with them all.

Tracey had a line!!!!!!!!

There was one scene with Tracey when I swear they'd used a stand in for Whitney. She spoke off screen then was stood next to Trace with her hair hanging over her face, looking away. It was weird.

I will have to watch that scene again.

Tracey has been in it since it started i believe, she has spoken a few times and there was a hint that she had it away with Phil in the 90s once too!
She spoke to Sharon once about how her husband was a wife beater ( i think it was sharon? when Peggy married Archie ) and had her problems, but she rarely speaks and just watches it all going on!

I was slightly dissapointed when the reply to "where do you want to go for lunch" wasn't "kathy's cafe", but imitation subway instead.

I've gone back to disliking Jack btw. What was with the confused and angry face over "death by misadventure." What was he expecting to hear? That Evil Roxy held Saint Ronnie's head under the water?

You can tell im bored today, but had a whizz through part 2 just now,.
There is a weird scene with Whitney and Tracey in the pub, Mick is sorting out one of the buckets and talking to them , whitney doesnt look up at all, she is looking at Tracey's magazine. You see her a moment later though.
It is a bit odd but i think it was her.
Jack is being totally unreasonable about everything, although i can see his point about Amys ears.

The rain pouring through the Vic roof does seem a bit random. Mick was changing buckets of water at lunchtime but it wasn't raining outside, because Amy and Glenda were walking around the square bone dry.

Akire I thought she said that too but I think Babe said Sylvie pushed Shirley down the steps 'when she was pregnant with Mick' i.e. Shirley. She was trying to say Sylvie was a crap mother and babe looked after the kids but now they love Sylvie and not Babe.

I think that Jack wanted to hear that Roxy was coked up and this caused her death. He wanted to be able to point the finger of blame squarely at her. By saying that it was a heart attack and not specifically cocaine I think he feels cheated.

Jack just hated Roxy he could see past Ronnie and her ice cold heart and murdering Jack just thought Roxy was a waste of space and needed to grow up, and of course he blames Roxy for Ronnies death he blew up at glenda becuse he doesnt want amy to be like her mum and he is a tool and hardly dad of the year.

Who owns Blades now? Surely Shirley could raise some cash by selling it? Or is it Dean's name? Who did Belinda rent it from??

I think Babe is pretty skint. She used to live in a tiny caravan. She'll probably end up on the streets.
