Surely Carmel will find the photo on Shaki's phone and Martin and Kush will be at loggerheads again.

I love how Sharon can tell Mick a day before she goes on hols. Ollie is with Linda isn't he?

Michelle's affair with the seventeen year old is already known to us. The school will have to run a criminal check on her before employing her to work with minors and then she will realise she can't work in UK schools and end up begging Mick for the job she was adamant not to take.

The Denise's storyline is weird because they already did the same story about Patrick not being her father. She will have to reconsider the adoption because she will feel a loss of her own identity and with Phil away on hols, he won't have any say in it and will return home to find his son living in the square..........

Thanks Akire - I'd gotten confused on the uncle bit as that now makes the Patrick storyline not fit if she had been adopted by her "mum" in place of her "uncle"/dad - yes there's definitely a few plot holes here!

And no, you're not the only one...I'd quite like him to become a regular extra!

It's getting a bit silly again, there was a whole storyline about Denise thinking Patrick was her Dad, because her mum said it was one of the band he was in, then Denise's mum even mentioned the band recently in a knowing way to Patrick. And her saying "oh, your not my daughter, gotta catch this plane, see ya!" was bollox.I think the random plot line generator has been dug out of the basement again.

Maybe Denise's uncle was friends with Patrick's band so when one of them had a baby dumped on them he took her & gave her to his sister, just saying that she belonged to one of the band members. Would explain why she didn't remember which band member was the dad. You'd have thought she'd have said something around the time of the paternity questions though. Could also explain her neglect of her children, if she felt she'd been burdened with a child that wasn't even hers before she'd had a chance to enjoy a single/free lifestyle. I may be giving the writers more credit than they're due with attempting to psychoanalyse the ridiculous storylines...

I think Louise's comment about her dad was her trying to guilt trip Bex into not saying anything that might cause Speedos extra stress & risk his recovery.

So was Denise born in Trinidad or in the UK? When Denise and Kim had the paternity test for Patrick, it must have shown up that they weren't sisters. Its all too unbelievable. But I bet they'll have an explanation in the next episode. They do that a lot these days.

I cannot remember now if Kim and Denise both had the paternity test when they thought Patrick might be their dad. If Denise had it done, maybe she just assumed she had the same father as Kim if Kim wasn't tested too?

Denise should contact her uncle I suppose for some answers! It is very far fetched. Mum is a cow for saying something now, then just going back home without a bit more explanation. Poor Denise, shes had a crappy life really, her exs were awful, the whole story with her step grandson, pregnant by speedo, now this.
Still, at least it may mean that her and Kim will get on better now maybe?

I did think the goading Kim thing BEFORE the mum revelation was deliberately designed to make Kim and `Denise rally together against her, so is it possible she made that up to bring them closer? (Or perhaps they'll say that tonight as a way of wriggling out of an implausible storyline). There was something that cropped up last night that answered a question we've asked on this thread before but I can't for the life of me remember what it was! I had a proper aha! Moment when it happened and everything!

i know,
it was Mick on the phone about the insurance for the roof repair, you heard him say 'wear and tear? do me a favour' .. so we can now assume that they did have some insurance but they wont pay out, which is about right for insurance companies, it is normally win win for them!
a big building to repair like that will be a mega amount. I am not sure how he can fund it, maybe a crowd funding thing? save our vic?

Yes it was the insurance thing that was answered yesterday! I'm surprised he hadn't phoned them the day the leak started. I think Max might step in to save the day again, and that's how he'll take over the vic.

The way he was speaking to Linda yesterday means him and Whitless are definitely going to start something. I thought she was laying next to him for a second but it was Sylvie 😆

I agree the goading was a way of bringing the sisters together before she left. She didn't seem the type to be nasty like that? Confused but who knows?!

I am shocked that Jay is still there , at christmas the authorities told him to move out - he did mention that he had to move ages ago, but Sharon seems hell bent on keeping him around, knowing they are breaking the law in effect. You would think she would be encouraging him and Ben to find their own place, helping out with the deposit or admin involved, but its all just her being negative and going on about Italy! As for leaving the evil one with nu chelle , its just ridiculous! TV guide for next week has a picture of Mick, Witless and Leak on the front - so my hope of them never coming back from Yorkshire is short lived.
