WTF?

OP posts:
greenworm · 11/02/2017 21:02

So what happens to their band names if they take 2 from 1 group and 3 from the other? Do we end up with Drive Panda?

Millimat · 11/02/2017 21:03

Same here green - just looked on the BBC website. I think that's matt.

LIZS · 11/02/2017 21:03

And this is how it should be done!

I think it's down to the song choices they've been given as well though isn't it?

greenworm · 11/02/2017 21:07

I agree for the main songs, it depended on a lot more than just the band - song choice, overall concept, staging, choreography etc.

I liked hearing them sing more indiviually in the sing off though, more of a level playing field there.

greenworm · 11/02/2017 21:11

My three picks straight through!

Millimat · 11/02/2017 21:12

I thought that Jamie would have been in.

greenworm · 11/02/2017 21:13

Conor? I thought he was one of the worst, surprised at that.

Millimat · 11/02/2017 21:15

I thought that about conor too. Are we the only ones watching?! I like it Confused

BonnesVacances · 11/02/2017 21:18

I'm really disappointed about Jamie going. I thought he was much stronger than Matt or Connor tbh.

Anyone else think he looks like a young Sean Maguire?

Glad they're mixing the bands up though.

BreatheDeep · 11/02/2017 21:37

Why is Mark so serious?

ellenanora5 · 12/02/2017 13:12

I'm still watching but missed last week, I was surprised Conor went through, I thought he was one of the weakest, the band names are dreadful but I suppose they won't be called that in the actual stage show, I was surprised to see Ricki Lake, totally forgot all about her, I love Mel usually but she is kind of annoying me on this show.

So next week is the semi final already, I'm glad they didn't drag it out very long, that's part of the reason I stopped watching X Factor, it goes on way too long.

228agreenend · 13/02/2017 16:44

Shame they didn't combine the names for the new group.

Really enjoyed the show.

Thought the last group were the best overall.

Can't remeber his name, but surprised the first singer in the line-up of the second group didn't get through.

228agreenend · 19/02/2017 21:36

Did anyone watch this. Just caught up with it. Thought Five To Five were superb. They moved and sang well and looked like a credible band. Iron Sunweren't as strong as last week. Drive did well considering they've only been together a week. Nightfall were vocally strong and it's good that West End Star let others take key roles. Howver, didn't think they looked like a band like other groups do - too varied images?

Felyt sorry for Jazzy being left to last. Felt a couple of people from te other group should have got through, including baths lad who spoke at the end.

Final next week.

Millimat · 20/02/2017 07:22

I watched. Really wanted iron sun to go through as I thought they were fab last week. I particularly thought matt, Mark? (Something like that) from iron sun should've gone through.

BonnesVacances · 22/02/2017 20:31

It's still Nightfall for me. I think Five to Five are real boyband material, just not for the musical. Nightfall are the only ones I'd pay to go to the theatre and see in a show called The Band. I think Barlow wants them to win as I think they're more what he had in mind. I wonder if he'll regret letting it go to a public vote? It's his show on the line after all.

228agreenend · 25/02/2017 18:48

The final!

AuntGertrude · 25/02/2017 19:15

Five to Five are the best vocally and also seem to work more seamlessly as a group on stage. I will vote for them; Nightfall to come second (or understudies to Five to Five).

LIZS · 25/02/2017 19:30

Gary's eyebrows look like caterpillars, Peter Kay is just an irritating spare part. Didn't see last week's show but Drive were really off in Grease.

ellenanora5 · 25/02/2017 19:34

Some of them have really come on, not bad at all, what the hell is Peter Kay doing there, I missed the beginning.

AuntGertrude · 25/02/2017 19:40

Peter Kay is there because Robbie Williams was meant to be there but is unwell (or unwell enough not to be sat for the whole programme - he might be there to sing a song later). It was a last-minute alteration.

In the end the last judge doesn't matter tonight, so it's not bothering me. The other judges know what they're about.

NewYearNewLife53 · 25/02/2017 19:41

Bloody hell. Drive. Just awful.

Sunnymeg · 25/02/2017 19:43

Ironic that after Peter Kay did the spoof Britain's got the Pop factor, that he is actually a judge or a real show.

228agreenend · 25/02/2017 19:45

Five to Five are the most credible as a band, and have proved they can sing and dance. Nightful are good singers, but to me look like a group of people singing together, not a boy band. Jason will do well out of this. Drive just didn't shine tonight. Connor is a good singer though.

Peter Kay is not funny tonight.
