Back on Wednesday the 4th of January on channel 4.

Last series ended with Viv giving that murderous arse Laurie what for. Her two colleagues helped her cover it up.... What next for our fearless Northern cops??

I genuinely don't understand what's going on. So Ewan the dead police officer/social worker got kids out of the system and gave them to Mani who locked them in a room to do card skimming and he raped them?! Why did no one notice these kids were missing? How much did Nora know?

Also why did the FGM storyline involve a South Asian doctor and a South Asian girl when it's a Somali issue and not a south Asian one?

bonfire I think they were the kids who were moved to different care homes/families and had lots of problems so they were often running away/living on streets etc so there wouldn't be a big fuss if they went missing. It's horrible but true. In the case of the Wests, a number of the girls they murdered weren't reported missing Sad

Somalia has one of the biggest problems with FGM but it happens in the Middle East and Asia too.

Just binge watched first series, it was brilliant! Unfortunately we are two hours ahead here, so the new series is on here at 11.00 bugger! Don't know if I cam wait until the DVD turns up here.

My theory is that Herbie's (Nora's other son whose funeral this series opened with) death was nothing to do with him disapproving of Nora but because he knew what Manni was up to with those children. Not sure whether it was suicide or whether Manni killed him. Leaning towards the latter though.

The racist claim was sorted last week when they realised the headmistress was trafficked and so linked to Nora.
The guy in the cells that punched his boss? He s the brother of pne of the children that died

I did immediately think there would be trouble when the helicopter pilot started up. Surely no one would have done that with people standing so close!! Really well done again though, shame that's the series finished
