Back on Wednesday the 4th of January on channel 4.

Last series ended with Viv giving that murderous arse Laurie what for. Her two colleagues helped her cover it up.... What next for our fearless Northern cops??

I missed the bit about the head teacher- how was she connected to Nora? Watched it on C4 and C4+1 and somehow managed to miss the relevant information both times!

Is next week the last in the series?

I've just watched it. The head teacher was told by Nora (threatening to tell about her being a prostitute as she was trafficked) to set up the car incident to get Viv suspended.

So making the statement cleared Viv & got her back to work.

There isn't an actor in the show who's not good imo. Viv is brilliant but the supporting cast v good & I also have a soft spot for the clever sciencey man.

Story line is so grim but there's humour too. Hard act to pull off, think it's done v well.

It's the same great balance that Shameless had. The cutting scene was really tense.
