No women, even in an Olympic year which gives women's sport a slightly higher profile than the zilch it normally gets. The women's hockey team would also had the good grace to look excited to win team of the year,the footballers just looked bored.

I voted for Nick. Best jump off I've ever seen live was won by him at HOYS, it was amazing. The expression on his face when he was on that Olympic podium brought a tear to my eye

I genuinely think having 16 candidates was just too much choice - I think having a pre-vote to trim it down to a shortlisted 8/10 on the night would make it more competitive to be honest

Facebook are complaining it's a fix as the trophy was there. They didn't seem to pay attention when the gymnast won the international award and had her trophy or that Mo Farrah had one in Dubai.
