I think it's a big deal no matter how many times you win but I know what you mean. Olympic year's are the main years smaller promoted sports get a look in

After the year we've had, I was half expecting to see Ched Evans on the list.

Well I agree that in an Olympic year, an Olympian should win

So still Andy Murray. Flag bearer and gold medallist.

I would go for either Laura Kenny, Jason Kenny or Andy Murray I think. Tricky Choice!

I don't think I can forgive Kenny for scaring me that he might get disqualified

Alistair Brownlee. Not just a double Olympic champion but helping his brother Jonny when he was in trouble shows true sportsmanship.

Mat Whitlock made the olympics for me, but Nick,Skelton is another strong contender.

I'm torn between Andy Murray and Alastair Brownlee. They should make it a joint first IMO.

Andy Murray. His achievements in the era of Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are incredible.
