Some of these Paralympics are inspiring as a parent of two children with their own challenges I'm awe struck.

I think I'll vote for Laura Kenny, even though Andy has had an amazing year. But he's won it a couple of times recently, including last year, and Laura was amazing in Rio ... and just so lovely and down to earth.

Mo's fall, Sophie is sheer inspiration and Nick for showing age is not a factor.

I'd like brownlee to win after helping his brother but I think Murray will get it

I also forgot how much I love Gareth Bale and how much he and the Wales team entertained me this year

I've just said to DS who loves sport but as a hypermobile, possibly dyspraxic child with asd has had big problems especially with awful non inclusive football clubs how easy it would be for someone with Sophie's condition to say I can't do this. She is an inspiration.

And all the unsung heroes including ds's volunteer hockey coaches who have given him a chance.

I really couldn't pick. Such a good choice of candidates this year.

Jason Kenny - 3 gold medals in a week. Top Olympian with 6 golds along with Chris Hoy. Just gets on with it, no showing off. Nice guy.

I think a Jason Kenny too. Then I think Mo Farah, then, oh I can't choose.

It's Andy Murray for me. But all of the nominees are inspirational. I will be happy whoever wins. They all deserve it!

That women's hockey final was stunning. I was surprised Maddy Hinch wasn't nominated.
