Anyone else watching? I'm excitedGrin

Exactly, it's not practical at all!!
I'd be a bit worried tbh, it's a bit of a hazard, in fact I would say it's a major hazard Hmm if that was anyone else I'd say social services would be involved haha.
Looks like honeymoon period is over for them anyway

I seriously feel for Naomi although she isn't really doing herself any justice running back to him every 5 seconds! I hope to God she sacks him off and stops bedding him every 2 minutes because she's gonna make herself seriously miserable!!
I can't believe he said he didn't wanna see his daughter & five days isn't a big deal compared to him seeing her for the rest of her life Hmm dickhead

TheFairyCaravan · 02/11/2016 22:33

I thought it was awful.

I don't know what it was but they just didn't come across that well. I'be watched 16 and Pregnant, Teen Mom and Teen Mom2 since day 1 and the girls on there seem so much more mature.

I did feel sorry for the girl whose partner slept with her best friend. His bollocks need to meet a Nutribullet!Wink

The one studying to be a makeup artist is being played like a fiddle by her baby daddy. She needs to kick him to the kerb. She is a stunning young woman. Concentrate on her studies and the baby and she won't go wrong.

I bet that Mia's baby daddy's ex was really pleased to hear her say that she felt like their baby was her's too and they were going to dress them in matching outfits. It was like they were playing house.

The whole program just didn't click with me. I'll still watch it though. Hmm

Yeah I cringed hard at that part. Mia is pretty clueless, I think she'll be in for a shock once her baby is here.

It all just seems very typically British Hmm
Concentrating more around boys then their babies really Hmm as bad as that sounds! The US one is interesting, they have actual stuff going on in their lives that makes you want to watch it apart from Farrah.

I completely agree with you about Naomi though poor lass!!

And omg, imagine saying someone else's baby is "like yours" HmmShock weird if you ask me!!

DeleteOrDecay · 02/11/2016 22:46

They set the bar pretty high with the US series.

I am intrigued to see how the series progresses though. Hopefully it will get better with time and that this was more of a 'pilot' episode if that makes sense.

I really liked Chloe, she seems lovely. I can relate to her regarding the weight stuff.

OP posts:
DigestiveMuncher · 02/11/2016 23:01

Yeah they did actually!

& yes so am I, I'm hoping it gets better it would be nice to watch them grow like we've been able to with teen mom.
& err, I can see where she is coming from as well I was like a size 6 before I had my DD I am now a size 12-14 BlushSad

DeleteOrDecay · 02/11/2016 23:07

I was an 8/10 pre children and am now a 12/14. I'm working on it though. Looking at the pictures on the teen mom uk fb page it looks like she does end up losing the weight so good for her.

OP posts:
DigestiveMuncher · 02/11/2016 23:09

Aww good on her!! I liked her, she seems about the only one that seemed to have her head screwed on, wanting to look for a house and start making a future for her family! Good on her I hope she actually does it. Grin

x2boys · 03/11/2016 12:56

do they get paid for the series like the american,s ?i used to love teen mom and teen mom 2 cant stand the OG, series but it kind of defeated the objective turning them all into reality stars not really the reality of most teen parents i imagine.

DigestiveMuncher · 03/11/2016 13:55

They will do yeah X2

lht22 · 03/11/2016 18:41

Did 'facial beard' irritate anyone else? She actually said it again after her friend simply said, 'beard', as if she was correcting her!
What other kind of beard does she know?

IHaveBrilloHair · 03/11/2016 18:45

The first couple, living in the caravan, her Mum drove up in a really expensive car, what was that all about?
Not sure of all the names yet but the Dads all seemed a bit crap.

DeleteOrDecay · 03/11/2016 18:46

Yeah wtf was all that about? A beard is facial, that goes without saying surely?

OP posts:
Soubriquet · 03/11/2016 18:49

I watched some of it

And hated every minute

They were so immature and bitchy it was ridiculous

And they sounded so British Grin stupid to say I know..

lht22 · 03/11/2016 19:22

I didn't get the comparison of 'facial beard' girl to Kendal Jenner either, she said people tell her she looks like a Kardashian? Khloe Kardashian perhaps, similar nose IIRC, but not Kendal at all Confused

DigestiveMuncher · 03/11/2016 19:30

She just seemed to blow her own trumpet lol!
I mean she must if she says she gets compared to a Kardashian i highly doubt it

lht22 · 03/11/2016 19:35

DigestiveMuncher
Yeah, she really did! Especially when saying she gets more interest from men than her friend, rude.
I used to work in a secondary school and one of the teenage girls said, 'Miss, has anyone ever told you you look like Khloe Kardashian?' I said no, but thank you. She replied, 'no offence though', cheers kid!

DigestiveMuncher · 03/11/2016 19:56

Err I know. I wouldn't mind in fact I'd take it on the chin if she was actually good looking but she literally had nothing too her at all Hmm

And aww no way!! I personally think Khloe is good looking I prefer her to any of the others so I would take it as a compliment haha!!

I was a bit weirded out by the one who was still pregnant when she said that her boyfriends daughter was like her daughter HmmShockShock who the f*ck says that??!! Confused

lht22 · 03/11/2016 20:01

I know, I was chuffed at the compliment! Hey ho!
Yeah, I thought the same, I can't imagine what the mum thought when she heard her say that!

DigestiveMuncher · 03/11/2016 20:04

If that was me I would be fuming!! Shock
The whole show was just weird!!

DeleteOrDecay · 03/11/2016 20:07

Did anyone see 3 of the girls on This Morning, this morning?

OP posts:
DeleteOrDecay · 03/11/2016 20:09

I agree it was odd, I've been thinking about the caravan couple and I just can't believe they were really living like that. He works 3 jobs, they could have saved for somewhere during her pregnancy? Really strange.

OP posts:
DigestiveMuncher · 03/11/2016 20:13

I also can't stop thinking about that! It made me laugh how the mum was saying she will pay for the wedding dress and her dad will pay for the wedding but neither of them could fork out for a deposit on a house so that the baby wasn't living in a caravan Hmm

UnicornMadeOfPinkGlitter · 03/11/2016 20:13

I think because I only watch og and they are now grown up and have houses and money, the uk version made me cringe.

They just seem so young and naive and dare I say common. I wanted to see a much more diverse mix of girls. To show a true representation of uk teens but I guess those from more affluent backgrounds might not see the appeal in doing the show (yes I know I sound awful sorry)

The one who hasn't had the baby yet who's boyfriend has a daughter 7 months older than hers. Wow. I wouldn't. She had a nice car though. Wink
