Wanted to make this a separate thread to make it obvious.

I didn't know this until I saw it mentioned it somewhere else today. Fox are showing the walking dead at 2.30 am!

I won't manage to watch it - I'm 7 months pregnant and my 3 year old isn't sleeping well but if you were able, it would be cool.

The morse code poster was significant, I thought it might be for when/if the hilltop and kingdom and Alexandria start conspiring against the saviours. I don't trust the leader on the hilltop though.

I quite like that father Gabriel has had a character transformation.

mattress thing sucks - I couldn't work out what that was either.

Eugene could make some kind of morse code device maybe? What was he making at the start some kind of record player?

Ooh that's a good idea yum perhaps they start to communicate with the others over radio via morse code.

How the hell would anyone be able to decode any blinking message from behind Daryl's greasy fringe? I like the fact that it's the women who are strong and defiant - Maggie at the end of the first episode, and Michonne and Rosita in this one.

Shallow I know but Rick looks shit at the moment - that curly mullet does nowt for him and his eyebrows seem to have disappeared. Not to mention Coral's Farrah Fawcett flicks.

Negan "grinning like an imbecile" made me laugh Rollergirl: so true!

I've decided Rosita is my new favourite character. She's going to give no shits and kill Negan.

I was creeped out by the scene with the balloons and all the Little Girl comment. Creepy feckers.

Didn't notice a morse code poster - I'm so rubbish

Hi! Going to rewatched and see if I can notice any Morse code from Daryll.

My speculation is because Rick has opened up about Judith and he'll "die before her" I think Negan might take her for Sherry (negative pg test but wants baby?) And that leads Rick to kick ass.
Probably not!
It is getting a bit predictable, I kept saying the lines before the characters (not seen before) "make me a bullet"
Loved Negans 1st encounter with Father Gabrielle "aren't you just a creepy guy with your smile" (paraphrasing)

The morse code poster was significant. Daryl is down but not out. He doesn't do surrender. Had to laugh at the cartoon character of Negan even though I want to kill him! Also he must know about the tiger at Hilltop. Why has he let them keep it? Why didn't he take Michonnes sword? Rick or someone will come up with a plan. Really hope it doesn't take another three weeks or so before we see them again. Carol and Morgan need to get home!

How would Daryl know morse code though? Bit of a convenient plot device if so.

Admit I cheered for Father Gabriel for the first time ever in this ep, he seems to have found his place.

Is it just me who wonders how Negan cleans Lucille? She always looks sparkly clean at the start of the episode.

I would LOVE to see Carol come riding in on the tiger to save the day. That would be truly epic.

Does anyone else think Dwight may have taken the bike for Daryl? Don't forget how much he must hate Negan for taking his wife etc. He knows how strong Daryl is. So many twists and turns. Just can't find any redeeming facet in Negans character. Why didn't he bludgeon him with Lucille while he had the chance?

We saw Judith briefly....but she seems to have aged a year since we last saw her . The morse code poster was a fixture in the house so probably spoken about? Also the sign we saw Rick standing by..."plunderers will be punished" is telling us something...

True the poster would have been there a while, but Darryl doesn't strike me as the type to sit and learn something like that off his own back. But I've long since learnt that with TWD, thinking too much doesn't do you any good .

As someone who naturally likes keeping lists of things, I think in a zombie apocalypse situation that's a habit I'd drop straight away to avoid getting into an Olivia mess!

Twiterati* I'm guessing the reason Rick didn't give Negan the Lucille treatment when he had the chance was because the Saviours were standing there too and would have killed him and everyone in Alexandria in retaliation.

You're right MargotlovedTom* but I just kept seeing him twitching it and so wanted him to just take him out. The saviours may have been stunned into submission...

I think if Rick tried to kill Negan pretty much everyone including most of Negan's gang would join in as they must have all been subject to the same treatment he is showing Darryl.

I really hope Rick's "broken" posture is just an act and he's sitting back for now and judging who he can trust to help bring down Negan.

I wonder how long Rick will go along with negans plans? What will it take for him to come out fighting?
Maybe carol coming back, or even seeing Maggie again? Or will Negan do something else, kill someone again and Rick will go crazy on him?
It might even have something to do with Carl or Judith?

Oh I don't know, don't like seeing the group like this though. And michione is not gonna bow to Negan easily, she is clearly struggling with the whole thing.

Think Rick's actually broken. He's only living relatives is Carl and, as irritating a little bollocks Carl is, having to cut off his arm cracked him.

Rosita is our hope. Bullet in the head for Negan in the next series at the earliest.

His comments about not wanting to kill women make me think it should be a woman that kills him. He's got that sociopath/psychopath (can never recall the difference) moral code going on. Respectfully of women but really not.

I cannot cope with Negan being Negan for the whole series. Someone seriously needs to shut him up.

He's getting right on my tits too. Agree you'd think the Saviours would be happy to see Negan get a Lucille to the head, but it would be a hell of a gamble for Rick to take. AlsoRick's lot have already killed some Saviours in that ambush on the compound, so I don't think they'd let him off at all lightly due to tribal loyalty.

This! I loathe Negan - just someone bloody kill him! Kept screaming at the to every time his back was turned! Although I did chuckle at his line to father Gabriel!

at Daryl, when Negan was aiming the gun at him he didn't even flinch or react, just carried on.

Wonder if Daryl might go on one of the runs to the Kingdom crew and Morgan might see him?

Where are Tara and Heath, they need to make an appearance soon. Next week looks like Hilltop with Maggie, Sasha and Jesus.

I'm loving the fact that so many people agreee with me and find Negan bloody irritating. It spoilt that episode for me. It should have been all about the menace, threat and tension and instead it was just distracting, listening to him witter on and on. It was almost ridiculous. And he looks nothing like his cartoon original. That Negan was enormous with slicked back hair, all big and beefy and intimidating. This one is lanky. Not intimidating. Take his bat away and I reckon even Carl could take him.

Huge lol at all the Negan hate. I kind of fancy him, but god knows he's so annoying! Sure loves the sound of his own voice. The way he punctuates his sentences too. It's doubly annoying because I wanted him to be so scary.

I did start to worry he'd find and take Judith though. I'm 20 weeks pregnant. Cannot deal with that kind of anguish.

Don't think they'd be able to just take Shiva. I mean, she might put up a fight and then they'd either have to shoot her and so lose out or take home a very angry tiger. Who wants an angry tiger running around their compound? They have some very smal corridors!

Tara actress was heavily pregnant when they were filming which I think is why they are taking a while to get to their story (and prob why they killed off her girlfriend when she wasnt there which seemed strange)
