I so wanted to see the 4 kids get their results I feel weirdly cheated that they were allowed to not do them, I said to DH that I bet theirs won't be very high and then they didn't take them, Also the book author boy wrote the book with his mum he kept saying WE based it on ........ and WE discuss ....... so imho it is not his book it is their book

Peter was called peter after his grandpa and dad they are all peter iyswim

Prof Freeman a good thing - very perceptive about Dante's difficulties in making allowances for other people, and how big a problem that may turn out to be for him. I liked his parents.

I found it so odd that even the children who had siblings seemed just not to interact with them. I don't think that would have just been selective filming.

Adam is a normal name too. I liked him. What a shame they want to send him to boarding school. In fact I liked all the children. Thought all their parents were just awful though. Just because children are very clever doesn't mean they require pushing into the limelight and absolutely doesn't mean they don't need discipline, affection, socialisation, stability, consistency, fun, childhood. If anything they need these things all the more.
