I agree with a pp that Candice pulls her lips when she's nervous - I really like her but I like them all really

I doubt it, ample as next week is patisserie and then it's the final.

Disappointed there's no chocolate week but I do enjoy the patisserie episodes.

Hate marzipan but love almonds - weird

Blondes I do too but I worked out it's because of the huge amount of sugar in Marzipan and I make my own with much less than the recipes say. It works ok, no eggs in mine either .

Did Nadiya actually make that peacock cake pictured, or did ample mean she found that particular picture amongst pictures of Nadiya's peacock cake? It says design copyright Jacques Pastries 2011.

I think Jane is most consistent, but wouldn't be surprised if one of Candice or Andrew sneaks up behind her to take the glory. Definitely won't be Selasi.

I reckon Jane will win she'll be good under pressure if she gets to the final. She reminds me a lot like Nancy who won the other year consistently good and experienced think Candice will crumble with the pressure of the final. Andrew is a bit too methodical with the bakes and lacks some flair

I would be happy to see any of them win now. I really like all of them....wish Benjamina had stayed too as she is an excellent baker.

I really like Candice for her enthusiasm and doing two or more flavours in one bake. I have always liked Andrew and Jane too. Love Selasi and his laid back attitude.

Just suppose- could they get Selasi and Nadiya (? and Bmin)for a new revision of GBBO on the BBC? with Mary? and another very experienced professional patissier/ baker? What about Raymond Blanc?

It would have to have a different format to avoid copyright problems. but I think that would have potential!

I like Jane. She comes across as very experienced but not a show off - the way she said she regularly makes a roulade or she's making the pie she does every Christmas without sounding smug was nice - just this is who I am and this is what I do - like Val but less scatty!

Andrew or Candice if they are on form are capable of more spectacular stuff, but equally could have a disaster on a bad day. Candice is ambitious, which I like, but it doesn't always work out - when it does, she makes some amazing stuff.

I also was thinking about replacement judges, Jane Asher would be good, she's a very experienced cake maker and cook.

She used to be on TV a lot too.

She still is in a shit awful kids' TV programme about an evil, American scientist who makes a robot then tries to take over the world but the robot "daughter" is onto her and is determined to defeat her with some family of randoms. Most people don't realise the robot is a robot until she needs a reboot and lasers come out of her eyes. It's like a cross between Metal Mickey, Tracey Beaker and Grandpa in my Pocket. And Jane Asher's American accent is rotten. My dog could do better.

I'm sure she makes lovely cakes though.

OMG it's the last one tonight !!!!! I' going to miss it. According to Chis Evans R2 today there's going to be a spat between PH and Sue tonight. Brilliant!!!
