Settling in. Full tummy so wont be tempted to jog off down to the co-op for cake again

I would have had Millionaire's Tiffin to eat along with Bake Off but unfortunately I scoffed the lot over the last few days and feel nauseous.

bookbook · 19/10/2016 20:03

I'm here, all ready - I love patisseries :),

GrouchyKiwi · 19/10/2016 20:03

Mmmmmm. Patisserie. My favourite.

TheSpottedZebra · 19/10/2016 20:04

Semi? Shock

But I have a full bowl of apple and blackberry crumble.

MiddleClassProblem · 19/10/2016 20:04

Mr MCP picked this week. Couldn't find palmiers (only savoury which is no fun) or canele so went for an eclair.

Next week I'm getting macarons whatever.

we're back to needing lairs

ample · 19/10/2016 20:04

I just know this is going to make me hungry

fourquenelles · 19/10/2016 20:05

Millionaires tiffin you say Soup? Dribble.

Selasi in a dress if he gets through tonight. Let's harness the power of Mumsnet to make it so!

TheSpottedZebra · 19/10/2016 20:05

I'm going to say say it - palmiers are shit. They could be the amazing lovechild of biscuits and pastry.
But they're just a disappointment.

CrotchetQuaverMinim · 19/10/2016 20:06

only if Candice goes home, because Jane and Andrew need to be in the final!!

ElectricMelon · 19/10/2016 20:06

PenguindreamsofDraco only came on this thread to see if anyone else is annoyed by her stupid pouting!

bookbook · 19/10/2016 20:06

I took out rhubarb muffins out of the freezer yesterday, just for tonight - DH and DGS scoffed the lot (yesterday !)

PenguindreamsofDraco · 19/10/2016 20:07

I am looking forward to what MonkSeal makes of Selasi in a dress.

I will dislike PH even more if he deprives us of that.

SoupDragon · 19/10/2016 20:07

Yes. Don't ever make it. It was like crack. I was eating it 3 slices at a time.

It seemed like a good idea when I invented it.

I have tarte au citron courtesy or Waitrose reduced section today. I think that'll work nicely !

bookbook · 19/10/2016 20:07

I haven't made my own puff pastry since domestic science at school ( do they still do that?)

fourquenelles · 19/10/2016 20:07

LTBs book Shock

I don't like it when Mary says she needs lairs. To me, that's the word for graves.
Unless the palmiers are going in the lairs. Bury them.

CrotchetQuaverMinim · 19/10/2016 20:08

dry bread crumbs?! What kind of pastry filling is that? Oh Andrew, don't disappoint us now

ample · 19/10/2016 20:08

They ended up a disappointment with my one attempt at baking them. Bone dry Sad

fourquenelles · 19/10/2016 20:08

OMG Soup I want to marry that!

RebootYourEngine · 19/10/2016 20:08
