Selasi is super cool.

SheHasAWildHeart · 24/08/2016 20:23

There's a pic of Val online and her resemblance to Joe Lycett - I can't look at her without thinking of him!

Raahh · 24/08/2016 20:23

grouchy Grin

GrouchyKiwi · 24/08/2016 20:24

PurpleDaisies I liked the look of Benjamina's cake too. Wonder if she'll be my friend.

paulapantsdown · 24/08/2016 20:24

I never have idea of names until there are only 6 left!

That woman's lipstick is very off putting.

Roussette · 24/08/2016 20:24

There's gonna be some ginormous jaffa cakes hahaha.... they'll be like fairy cakes Grin

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 24/08/2016 20:24

Also not a fan of lady in Pink who works out whilst stirring, she seems to be over acting for the cameras.

Still no clue who is who really...

RebootYourEngine · 24/08/2016 20:25

grouchy im with you there. My ds loves them though. I didnt know jaffa cakes looked like that.

Madbengalmum · 24/08/2016 20:25

Paula, it really doesnt suit her does it!

CrotchetQuaverMinim · 24/08/2016 20:25

I like Jaffa cakes too.

But I hate the way they just give them half-recipes, and the whole thing is about who can make it up the best or who has made a certain recipe before, rather than who can follow a recipe properly

ALemonyPea · 24/08/2016 20:25

Shock Grouchy. How very dare you.

I never remember their names for the first three or four episodes.

LadyPenelope68 · 24/08/2016 20:25

Don't like Candice

foxessocks · 24/08/2016 20:25

I don't like Jaffa cakes either! And I am a Brit! My dh can eat a whole pack in about 10 seconds.

Trills · 24/08/2016 20:26

Gluten free is not a healthy twist.

Most people have no problem with gluten.

Peanut-free is not a healthy twist unless you are allergic to peanuts, it's just "different in a way that is neither healthy nor unhealthy"

PurpleDaisies · 24/08/2016 20:26

I made a giant Jaffa cake cake once-8in sponge with a disc of orange jelly and chocolate on top. It was really good

FTFOAFOSM · 24/08/2016 20:26

Aren't jaffa cakes technically a biscuit? Yes, I know it's to do with VAT - but...

ALemonyPea · 24/08/2016 20:27

M&S do amazing dark chocolate and cherry Jaffa cakes every now and again.

Raahh · 24/08/2016 20:27

We go with nicknames, i.e hat man, pencil guy, beardy bloke. Eventually we learn names Grin.

These jaffa cakes are enormous!

dementedma · 24/08/2016 20:27

Like the young Irish chap

Madbengalmum · 24/08/2016 20:28

Val aka aerobics granny!

PurpleDaisies · 24/08/2016 20:28

I think the difference is a biscuit goes soft if you leave them out but cakes go dry and hard.

  • disclaimer-may or may not be true
Trills · 24/08/2016 20:28

Jaffa cakes are a cake.

When a cake goes stale it goes hard.

When a biscuit goes stale it goes soft.

MiddleClassProblem · 24/08/2016 20:28

I just ate one of those fairy cakes whole Blush

FTFOAFOSM · 24/08/2016 20:29

I know, but they're still classed as biscuits, wrongly! :)
