Also not a fan of lady in Pink who works out whilst stirring, she seems to be over acting for the cameras.

I like Jaffa cakes too.

But I hate the way they just give them half-recipes, and the whole thing is about who can make it up the best or who has made a certain recipe before, rather than who can follow a recipe properly

I don't like Jaffa cakes either! And I am a Brit! My dh can eat a whole pack in about 10 seconds.

Gluten free is not a healthy twist.

Most people have no problem with gluten.

Peanut-free is not a healthy twist unless you are allergic to peanuts, it's just "different in a way that is neither healthy nor unhealthy"

I made a giant Jaffa cake cake once-8in sponge with a disc of orange jelly and chocolate on top. It was really good

Aren't jaffa cakes technically a biscuit? Yes, I know it's to do with VAT - but...

M&S do amazing dark chocolate and cherry Jaffa cakes every now and again.

We go with nicknames, i.e hat man, pencil guy, beardy bloke. Eventually we learn names .

I think the difference is a biscuit goes soft if you leave them out but cakes go dry and hard.

Jaffa cakes are a cake.

When a cake goes stale it goes hard.

When a biscuit goes stale it goes soft.

I just ate one of those fairy cakes whole

I know, but they're still classed as biscuits, wrongly! :)
