yes boiled sweet cookies are fab decorations at Christmas. The right sort of sweets don't even need to be ground up like that - just plonk them in the spaces of a biscuit and they melt and look great. Eating them is not such a fantastic experience though - very crunchy and sugary, before you get to the nice biscuit bit.
