this could be the most tragic thread about kids tv ever but I've wanted to start it for months

am fascinated by who does which voices

Justin is very prolific: does Jake & Doodles from Tweenies, the animals on Boo!, the bear in Fun Song Factory, and something on CITV with some lad with blue hair

Tigs from Shiny Show is Sue who used to be one of Cbeebies presenters

worked out this afternoon that one of Bits and Bobs is Barnaby Bear

anyone else, please god, prove themselves to be as sad as me?

Breadgirl - Heard on radio one this afternoon that Poy/Pui however it is spelt was indeed Po off Teletubbies She also makes an appearance in the second Bridget Jones film, which is on tonight I think.

along the general theme of being sad, we had a competition one night on a girl's night out for 'name that tune' from cbeebies, and most of us got over 20 of them within 6 notes (but my child NEVER watches TV of course...). The only ones that lost were not in fact the super self righteous ones, but the ones who couldn't be bothered to sit down and watch TV at the same time, and used it instead to do something away from their little darling - me, I'm only too glad to sleep on the sofa!

Paul from Tikkabilla, as well as being in 'Songcatcher' (with a woman who wants to be Julie Andrews in Sound of Music). Is also a Shakespearean (sp) actor and played Puck in Midsummer nights dream!

I have to say that i was mightly embarrased not to know that milton wordsworth was the kat - will definately watch the next time!!! My greatest shame was that in our local tesco (where my husband works) Spencer from Balamory was behind me - i was grinning like a mad fool and trying to get my dd to notice but as usual she was too busy on the barney train thingy!!

Julian Clary is the 'narrator' for Little Princess - he doesn't narrate as such, he's an off-screen voice who talks to Little Princess. Who in turn is Jane Horrocks, who is also Fifi Flowertot of course.

Peppa Pig has some interesting voices from 80s/90s alternative comedy, but I can't remember who they are.

Peppa Pig's mummy is voiced by Morwenna Banks, who was in Absolutely in the 1980's (Stoneybridge!).

Big Cook Little Cook also did the Yorkie Bar adverts that used to link Soccer AM - my DD got very excited seeing them there.

And how can anyone not think that Big Cook Ben isn't gay after watching him do the tidy up song? Camp as tits!!

What I want to know is who does the voices for what in Rubbadubbers - while I know that Sean Hughes is Finbar and John Gordon Sinclair is Tubb, I want to know which of them is Reg and which is Terence!

Have to admit that I only realised it was Cat that was Milton when I read the credits one time and saw it was Danny John-Jules (the name has always stuck in my head for some reason!).

My DD is obsessed with Justin (he bears a vague resemblance to Mr LC) so I'll have to look out for Vtech toys... actually, we got one for Crimbo, the most revolting teddy bear that is given to announcing "I LOVE you!" at odd intervals (not good when you're on your own in the house!) - that's definitely not voiced by him!

The woman who does Dizzy, Amelia & Florrie is Kate Harbour and she also did the rabbits in Percy the Park Keeper.

someone told me that Ant and Dec do the voices on Enjy Benjy i'd love to know if thats true.

Bottle top bill has a fantastic bristol accent does anyone know who it is and are they part of Aardman animations.

I think that Postman Pat's voice is the same (annoying) one as that patronising 'Prof' dog from Fab Lab but I've never got around to checking the names.

My ds1 has an ancient video of Tractor Tom (which I don't think is on CBeebies, but hey) that he inherited from his cousins and it had Liza Tarbuck and James Nesbitt doing the voices. He got a later one out of the library the other day and I was traumatised to find that they weren't on it anymore!
