am fascinated by who does which voices

Justin is very prolific: does Jake & Doodles from Tweenies, the animals on Boo!, the bear in Fun Song Factory, and something on CITV with some lad with blue hair

Tigs from Shiny Show is Sue who used to be one of Cbeebies presenters

worked out this afternoon that one of Bits and Bobs is Barnaby Bear

anyone else, please god, prove themselves to be as sad as me?

Cricket from Miss Spiders Sunny Patch is Harry from Bucketful of Dinosaurs.

and someone else is also Hamilton in Maggie and the ferocious beast but I can't remember who..... that's going to bug me for ages

treacletart · 30/01/2007 15:31

The Squirrel in Higglytown Heroes (Fran DS tells me she's called) is Sue Johnstone off Brookside,Royle Family,Waking the Dead etc

breadgirl · 30/01/2007 15:31

This has got me watching teletubbies with my dd now .. oh dear! The little boy is sooo cute though

treacletart · 30/01/2007 15:40

Also Lynda Snell (from the Archers) does most if not all the female voices in Postman Pat. Also spotted Shula being the voice of Walter in Ds's Dennis the Menace DVD the other day.

breadgirl · 30/01/2007 15:44

toyah wilcox says the bit at the end of teletubbies

KTeePee · 30/01/2007 16:04

Ahem, I actually MET the guy who does the voice of Milo and Max recently - different people do the voices to those wearing the costumes I believe - I think Iain Lauchlan wears the costumes for both Max and Judy.

becaroo · 30/01/2007 16:06

Apparently, when off my face on pain medication (after a lumbar puncture) I kept telling everyone I could hear Spencer from Balamory singing his "musical ladder" song. And the thing was..>>>>whispers

frenziednester · 30/01/2007 17:45

still laughing at LV's jesus comment......... ... ooh, my pelvic floor......

DumbledoresGirl · 30/01/2007 21:40

KTeePee how does that work then when both Max and Judy are on screen together?

smoggie · 30/01/2007 21:57

one of the sunny patch insects is the same voice as Martha Monkey from Noddy!
Oh God, I really do need to get a life!

satine · 30/01/2007 22:07

But Byron Wordsworth wins the Cool Award for being a baddie's henchman in Casino Royale!!

Just think how he must strut about at CBeebies parties, laughing at "glasses advert" Doodle-Do boy, and "I had to go down a sewer" Auntie Mabel.

sockmonkey · 31/01/2007 09:50

Cat/Milton was a baddie in Blade... does that earn him cool points too?

As far as I can tell...oh I am sooo sad....
bits or bobs, Barnaby Bear and the clock from step inside are all the same person.

Right must go and watch something terribly adult and sophisticated

Flumpybumpy · 31/01/2007 09:54

sunny patch also has the voices of Tasha and Austin in Backyardigans!!

I said this to DD (3.5) this morning and she told me 'Mummy you always know the voices'. I watch too much TV!!!!!

DDG I think they do some fancy things with a computer - superimpose the images.

Cappuccino · 31/01/2007 10:03

Milo and Max are the same person

OP posts:
KTeePee · 31/01/2007 10:11

Same actor does the voices

DumbledoresGirl · 31/01/2007 13:15

Now this is sad. I watched Tweenies this morning and specifically noted that, although Max and Judy had a brief conversation with each other at one point, they were not actually shown in the same shot.

So now I am going to be looking out to see if they ever actually share a shot forever more. Thanks KTeePee

funkimummy · 31/01/2007 13:23

My husband made me watch some awful programme late one night about men and how they feel about their willy's. What a shock I had when Big Cook and Little Cook (who are actually comedians.) started talking about how much they liked their 'c*£ks'!

Nearly spat my brandy and coke all over my new sofa. Can't watch big cook little cook now, though DS loves it. Yikes!

DumbledoresGirl · 31/01/2007 13:25

God I watched that programme (courtesy of dh) too. Were Big Cook and Little Cook really on it? I must have missed that bit (thank God!)

funkimummy · 31/01/2007 13:27

Dumbledoresgirl - they most definitely were!! DH thought I was nuts when I shot off the sofa and announced through my gurgling that they were big cook little cook!

2nervesleft · 31/01/2007 13:38

DD likes watching Tiny Pop and Nick Jr and lots of the dubbing (from US accents to British) is done by the same people. One of the Backyardigans is also Franklin, Cant remember the rest now but we always play 'don't look - who's talking' game and its suprising.

minko · 31/01/2007 13:41

Yeah - I saw it too! Are they gay? Big cook said he's like his balls examined by John Virgo. Euuoooo!

Cappuccino · 31/01/2007 13:43

big cock and little cock?

Aunty Mavis (in that one with Pippin the dog - Come Outside?) was in some of those carry-on type films in her younger days!

funkimummy · 31/01/2007 13:48

Cappuccino, my thoughts exactly!!

Not sure if they are gay, just can't look at them doing the whole bc, lc routine without PMSL!!
