Ore is quite short - bet he'll get Janette as she is tiny. Stealth boast coming up My daughter had a private dance lesson with her and Aljaz after a silent auction prize win. They were both very lovely, very friendly and full of chat about Strictly - the professionals get no say in who they dance with, they are matched with the celebs mainly on height. They don't find out until the day when they film the "matching" show. The pro dancers will be watching the Twitter announcements along with the rest of us and speculating ;-)

Melvin is tiny for a man, 5'4" or 5'5" depending on who you believe. But a few of the female dancers are 5'0" to 5'2", so although Janette is the most likely contender it could equally be a couple of the others.

I put Melvin with Janetta when I learned he was my height. I thought Ore was taller, he looked tall on that clip as Ore 3000 unless Sonali is very petite.

Chloe is the shortest according to those in the know over at DS so you could well be right there anyone unless the two babies are Troupe only (as two pros have to sit out this year, right).

Guilty as charged wild I do like to speculate. But I can do that on Monkseal's, no worries. I dip in and out of DS as the fandoms, as my teen would put it, get a bit...enthusiastic, even for a geek like me.

Have you ever visited the DS soaps forum? It's the bizarrest place ever, they blur the distinction between real life and soaps, it's like a parallel universe.

Yes to Natalie getting someone good this year. And I want to see more dancing from Brendan, Alijaz and Pasha.
There seems to be so many new pros this year I can't even get my head around them.

The problem with DS is that it all gets a bit nasty very quickly. If you like one celeb then you must hate everyone else. Same on all the forums, or just Strictly. And the appreciation threads are a whole level of differen level of crazy.

I don't watch soaps. Probably would if I still lived in the UK but have not seen them for years so never recognise current slebs from EE, Coro, hollyoaks etc

They showed her a basic cha cha cha and then added on some other bits and pieces. Showed her how they start with the basic steps and then everything else is just a variation on that. Told her stuff like not to look at her feet and to smile more. They also did a bit of kicks and flicks like for the jive. (She is only 11!!) They were both really nice and very friendly, Aljaz super with her and very encouraging, happy for me to take video and photos. Chance of a lifetime for her - and now they are most definitely her favourite professionals.

freshprincess DS users take everything so personally and they're so criticising of everything - but you do learn some good gossip! The Robron (Emmerdale) Appreciation thread is particularly eye opening - I don't know how any of the users have time to do ordinary every day things like have a job or family coz all they do is obsessive stalking of Robron lol.

Will Young's name has come up so often over the years I can't believe he's actually finally do it. Putting dancing ability aside, everyone announced so far seems "nice" which is good!
