I was sure there had been a switch between Laura and Anastacia until I saw:

The Mirror headline claiming Georgia was jealous of Laura < clearly, this would have been the angle regardless of the split. In the same way the Holly-Artem pairing was meant to make Kara but failed in its entirety cos:

Thanks for that CaveMum, I shall have to have a look at some clips of Kristina dancing and look at her feet. I loved watching Flavia she had such a grace and elegance in her dancing.

It's great on these threads to hear proper, professional information and knowledge.

If the BBC did swap Laura and Anastacia or deliberately put Laura with Giovanni because of Georgia possibly being jealous that's rather nasty and cynical but they do have form vis the Holly-Artem pairing.

If we're posting favourite dances, I will have to post this one again. . So so amazing and always makes me a little nostalgic for the days that the pro dances actually showcased what one of the dances the next week should look like. .

I love that dance for the nostalgia factor. I think that may be from the series when I started watching, I like seeing what to me are all the original faces.

Ola could never hold a candle to Flavia IMO. Absolutely gorgeous women, Ola always looked a bit too tacky and false for my liking. I agree about Aliona though, maybe not the most beautiful, but incrediably sexy.

Oti is my girl crush, she has the most amazing legs. I couldn't take my eyes off her last year.

Katya Virshillas (sp?) was my girl crush.

StopLaughing - great clip makes me feel very nostalgic about all those pro dancers that are no longer part of SCD, and I do agree with you about the professional dancers showcasing a dance.

I think Aliona has a bit of a marmite appeal, I liked her.

It's lovely to see the professionals dance, especially in competition. Makes you realise how much they 'dumb down' for the celebs.

The speed at which the pro dancers move in that jive is breathtaking, a latin medley clip autoplayed after it with the same dancers and again the speed they moved was jaw dropping.

Katya V is Canadian I think. I first saw her in the Antonio Banderas film Take the Lead where she performs an amazingly sexy Tango with AB. It took me a while to recognise her due to the bleach blonde hair and the fact she played a miserable cow in the film!

Ah that Katya, thanks Cave I struggled to recognise her too and I now remember Tess talking about her dancing with AB!
