I thought he smoked the cigar for comfort/something to do/as a way of being alone. Wonder if he smokes that much in real life.

That they were not British means sweet FA - they all had a better grasp of manners, the language and general humanity than the Brits. Ian aside that is. But he was still pretty weak willed.

I didn't watch BB but heard the race row on tv and radio and was delighted to hear that the Indian girl won.

Poor Dirk - of course he was never going to stand a chance with Shilpa - I thought he was humourous and gracious about it, and even in the inertview when he said 'well Shilpa dumped me in week 2' - he was being wry...and she did flirt with him - and then leaned on him as a friend during the Oxogate days, and then abandoned him and talked about him behind his back once Jade was out and she was all buddying up to Jodielle.

And that blonde guy who was out before Davina had taken her mascara off on opening night - he was rude and horrid calling Dirk 'old-timer' on BBBM, and the poison in Cleo's voice as she made reference to meeting Dirk's 'charming son' - what on earth was that all about? Poor Dirk - I think he was badly abused.

But he shouldn't have said Cleo had a fat ass and a middle-aged-cleavage. LOL at Russell brand 'the character based sex-attack'.

I don't think it is disgusting to fall in love with someone much younger than yourself, especially if you are completely realistic and know you are too old for them. I thought he had a proper sense of humour and was extremely self-deprecating, and tbh, I think Shilpa let herself down a bit by being so mean to him, when he had provided a shoulder to cry on when the harpies were in full cry.
I think people always vote for the nicest people on BB. Chantelle was really, really nice, stood up to bullies, was kind and polite. I don't see why she is so different to Shilpa, tbh.

It's not so much the age of Dirk - I thought he was only about 50 myself! - but that he's . . . he's just The Face and he's gross, too.
