Let's hope this series will be better then last one

Obviously you will save money if not buying the most exspensive items every week /spending £200/300

How about helping a family who spend £50/60 and need to cut it down even more

Tho do love the taste challenge esp when they say something is disgusting - and it's their usual posh brand 😂😂😂

This is hard to watch as I'm similar.

Not everyone will eat the same so I often make different meals.
I wasn't fed as a kid so can't let my kids go hungry. Ridiculous as they never will.
I bake a lot.

SadBlush.

flightywoman · 27/07/2016 20:13

I thought that was an obscene waste when she was chucking the veg away.

But £235 is absurd, we don't even spend that on a Christmas shop...

hobnobsaremyfavourite · 27/07/2016 20:14

Why would bin perfectly good food?

P1nkP0ppy · 27/07/2016 20:14

Absolutely ridiculous!
I can't understand how anyone can pay that, it's more than my salary in my last job!

PurpleDaisies · 27/07/2016 20:16

How can she think their cupboards are empty?

seasidesally · 27/07/2016 20:16

well she dosent work outside the home and the house looks beautiful inside and out so im guessing they have a healthy income

flightywoman · 27/07/2016 20:17

It's like cupboard dysmorphia.

dillite · 27/07/2016 20:22

Christ on on a moped, that dinner looks nasty. Who the hell eats pie with beans and chips?

Raahh · 27/07/2016 20:22

I love the dog.

That's it really. Grin

PurpleDaisies · 27/07/2016 20:23

It's a bit of an odd combination. Fish fingers, chips and beans is our cant be bothered to cook meal.

seasidesally · 27/07/2016 20:24

Christ on on a moped, that dinner looks nasty. Who the hell eats pie with beans and chips?

i dont think it's that unusual is it

ellenanora5 · 27/07/2016 20:24

I was thinking the same seasidesally, and their reason for saving money wasn't a financial one, it was to spend time together, which is lovely, I reckon he works very very hard and has been pushing for this for a long time, can't blame him really.

dillite · 27/07/2016 20:26

seasidesally Is it really not? I have to admit that other than the pie, we do not have the other foods in this house, so it is very unusual to me. I would just have pie with steamed veg or a salad.

ellenanora5 yeah it does seem like that,i understand why she over buys, they seem like a nice family hope they get the outcome they want

PurpleDaisies · 27/07/2016 20:27

Here it would be pie, chips, peas and gravy.

flightywoman · 27/07/2016 20:28

Pie, chips and beans is pretty normal as a meal!

ellenanora5 · 27/07/2016 20:28

I mentioned before but my shopping budget is very small so any leftover veg I have is made into soup and if any of that is leftover I freeze it, I couldn't throw away, I think I would cry.

seasidesally · 27/07/2016 20:29

thank god im not alone thinking it's not that unusual Grin

ellenanora5 · 27/07/2016 20:30

I'd love one of her big pots but they are expensive, I must keep my eye out for one on sale.

dillite · 27/07/2016 20:32

Ok, I must be alone in it being weird then! Must be my foreign ways.

seasidesally · 27/07/2016 20:32

the only one i do is spinach, never seen it without

dillite · 27/07/2016 20:33

PurpleDaisies · 27/07/2016 20:33

How does a family of three eat a whole cake a day?!

dillite · 27/07/2016 20:36

If they are like my family, they blink, and it's gone grin
