Just realised it's back!!!

Watching it on demand now to catch up - where's everyone from last year's thread!!?

Can't wait to discover who we've going to love to hate, and who we'll simply just hate, which couple will we like and who do we want to win!!!

I wonder will they get a chance to come back, a couple of series ago some of the bottom teams did another instant restaurant, think it was the one with David and Corrin (was that her name)

Ah I like Colin, he's good with the teams that aren't so up themselves, wonder will he be judging on his own like last time.

I was thinking how bloody boring it must be for Pete and Manu to sit there making small talk for so long, especially when like last night they were so late serving crap food.

You never see Pete and Manu during the extra long waity bits do you.

That's true Foxes, you don't, wonder where they go, down to the local pub and wait for a text to come in saying they're finally ready

I reckin Nigella will help Colin at the phase 3 instant restaurants.

I was just wondering where Pete and Manu go during the waiting - they film it from an angle where it's pretty clear they aren't there, so where are they? Do they go and sit in the car or something?

They can't go far, wherever they do go!!

Who's watching / has watched tonight's? I've come to the conclusion that in MKR:

I tend to like the following combinations:

Two dads
Two mums
Father and son
Siblings in any combination

I generally don't like:

Couples with an age gap
Couples with their description something like 'in love' or 'soul mates'

Other judge about to be revealed...

As for the couple, how did the lamb end up like that, I actually thought it would be very underdone.

Spanish lady is going to be irritating and her husband is a wimp.

Well that was underwhelming. All that anticipation about the new guest judge and it turns out to be someone I've never heard of!

I've never heard of her either. Liked her dress though.

The couple from last night were just mega irritating, I was waiting for them to announce 'I'm mad me' (possibly they say it different in Australia) you know what I mean they are they type of person that spends a lot of time telling others how different and non main steam they are; they have to because it wouldn't be noticeable otherwise).

Yes Spanish woman will be annoying. Seems to be the theme this year: extreme face pulling over opinionated woman with a 'yes madam' won't think for themselves partner.

Quite like the two dads, don't like the stepmom and stepdaughter, whilst it's fantastic two women in that relationship get on, that level is disturbing from the clips I had thought they were twins who still dressed the same!!

I've heard of her. She's on TV a fair bit.

Maybe they'll save Nigella for the important studio knockout. I'm clutching at straws cos she was in Oz whilst it was being filmed.

Nigella was on Masterchef so won't be on MKR. Rachel does The Little Paris Kitchen and her food always looks lovely.
I'd say the Spanjsh woman will be a total nightmare, the "twins" are weird, but the dads should be good.

Ah, I don't watch Mastercraft but Nigella isn't going to be on both.

I like the look of Rachel's food too. Amazing that she can make such feasts in the tiniest of spaces.

I've caught up, my liver is in revolt I've had two nights on the trot with the girls.

The Socks was a classic, all that fist pumping, we're going to smash it & motivational talk & it was still a shower. I'm not sure I'm getting all this superfluous facial hair, last nights guy looked like someone from Texas Chainsaw, or maybe Wurzel Gummidge (shows age). They are a bit "I'm mad aren't I".Spanish Lady is a nightmare, I wonder if she has one in her bathroom?

I thought Rachel Khoo looked fab, great dress. I don't know who Colin is, this is the first series I've properly watched.

So funny seeing Socks get booted off. I could cry, but I'm not going to. Whatever you say.

That spaghetti seafood in a bag looked yuk. The squid looked raw enough to swim off the plate.

Yep last night was a big fail, the spaghetti bag thing was horrible, and she changed her mind about five times regarding how long to cook it for.

Well a least they are not bitter (cat flick and no-nickname from last night). They criticise tonight's menu because 'ours was more technical', (least I think that's what she said) well ok sure, but you screwed it up because it was too technical for you to manage!!

Phew, Lauren certainly has a bee in her bonnet since her low score and she is going to vote everyone low isn't she? Don't think any of the other contestants like her.

Donkey, I googled to see who won, as I like to see how they progressed through the series. Bit of an odd way to watch it, but I'm not bothered about the suspense.
