Hi there is anyone on here as excited as me about the return of the gilmore girls on netflix xxxx squeal!!!

I only discovered GG this year and I love it. But I find Lorelai maddening. She didn't check the fees before applying to Chilton? She is a terrible daughter, mother and friend - poor Sookie never gets to talk about her life - and then there's how she treats men. Rory is, apparently, clever and obsessed with Harvard, and yet neither of them have done any research into what it takes to get into an Ivy League college? I love the other characters and I really hope Lane has had sex more than once.

Yes, Lorelei is a PITA at times! I guess when she applied for the private school she must have hoped for a bursary! Or subconsciously had the plan to go to her super rich parents.

The acting is often really good, especially the dysfunctional relationship between Lorelei and her parents. Kelly Bishop is amazing in it IMO. And Lauren Graham too.

I dislike Rory's supposed genius, all the hardcore book and current affairs devouring etc - doesn't ring true for me.

I can't believe how excited I am I can remember reading about Americans having Twin Peaks parties in the 90's and being bemused, its only tv! But here I am.....snacks ready. I'm determined to stay off the spoiler thread.
