Hi there is anyone on here as excited as me about the return of the gilmore girls on netflix xxxx squeal!!!

I am ridiculously excited about this. The trailer made me feel a bit tearful ffs - I just hope it isn't a mess.
I am currently on season 2 of Gilmore Guys but I love it and it's beyond brilliant that these 2 random guys started a fan podcast talking to 3 people and ended up so big they're in the bloody show!

Loved decluttering Emily saying that the dining chairs (from all those dysfunctional dinners) didn't bring her joy!

Read online speculation that Rory is with Logan, since he's the only ex bf shown in a domestic setting.

Where can I watch Gilmore guys. I love Gilmore girls must have watched it once a year since I was a teen.

Gilmore Guys is a podcast so it's audio only.

Someone far more techie will be along in a minute, but if you have an iPhone click on your podcast icon and search. Otherwise a Google search could do it?

You have to persevere, but you will get sucked into the Gilmore Guys universe.

Konyaa - Gilmore Guys is a podcast about Gilmore Girls. It's presented by two men, one is a long term gillie, the other hasn't seen the show before.

It's a good podcast, but season one is a bit amateur. It gets better in season two when they start to get some really good guest stars.

Just started watching series one. Don't like Lorelai.

Lorelai didn't look too bad to me, her forehead wasn't frozen and her face wasn't pulled tight. From reading the comments I was expecting to see that Wildenstein woman!

Never could stand all the fawning over that perfectly ordinary kid, wonder if they'll still worship Saint Rory now she's an adult?

Loved the trailer, I think Rory has aged well but it was a surprise to see her looking older I'm similar to other posters in that on first watch I related to Rory and now with lauralai, really sad about the actor who plays Richard too. I wonder if if the mini series is well received they will continue with it. I think Sookie and Jackson's will have 6 children! And Luke and LL will have one

Sookie didn't even want DC3 and Melissa McCarthy was nearly not in it at all, so doubt they'll have had more DC.

Janet agreed, she hasn't had Botox or a facelift, but her face looks quite puffy from dermal fillers.

Re: Sookie - I hated so much that s7 storyline about Jackson lying about the vasectomy and Sookie accidentally conceiving. It made me absolutely furious.

Rory isn't just any other kid. Quiet, studious, Rory.... reminds me if the young me SO much

Rory is annoying at times.

Just seen an old Netflix episode in series 2 I think (where Paris has the meltdown giving a speech): Paris has had sex with her bf Jamie and Lorelei overhears her discussing this with Rory. Rory tells Paris she hasn't had sex.

When Paris steps out, Lorelei hugs Rory, says she's taking Rory shoe shopping, then says to herself gleefully "I have the good kid".

Can understand Lorelei's relief about Jess since she dislikes him, but not the whole "good kid = virgin" idea - Rory is about 18 at this point! Most US shows are so prissy about young adults having sex!

Rory and Lorelei are annoying at times but that's no bad thing. They're not one dimensional. I'm watching the last episode of season 7 tomorrow.

I've just finished watching it all on Netflix for the first time. No idea how I missed it when it was on originally but I've loved it!

I'm team Logan, but that may be as I love Cary Agos in the good wife so got very excited when he showed up in GG!

It's a hidden gem still. I don't know anyone in real life who watches it. I think people assume its just another cheesy drama which of course it isn't.

I agree Lois. All the characters have traits that are irritating but that's life, it makes them seem more real.

I'm near the end of season 2, I'd forgotten how annyoning Dean is towards Rory. She says she needs space, an evening to herself and then he invites himself over anyway? Then he gets all angry because Jess invites himself over?! He's a knob.

Honestly, I hope Rory finds a totally new fella, none of them were good enough!

Ive binged it all over again. I still love Emily the best. She somehow manages to behave outrageously but you still see how vulnerable she is. Excellent character, can't wait for the new series.

Emily and Richard are so horrible to Lorelei though!

As a boyfriend I think Dean was pretty crappy. But as a beautiful man I'm hoping so much he's in the new episodes. His beauty speaks to me in a way that only Nick Carter, Aaron Carter and Ben from a1 have in the past... (I have had a thing for curtains/floppy hair)

As a fully fledged adult lady type person though, Jess is so bloody sexy.

Lorelai and Emily bring out the bad in each other. Emily is doting with Rory, who is not so hostile and defensive as her mother. When Lorelai hurt her back and was vulnerable, Emily was maternal and you could see the love, albeit with mashed banana... Such brilliant writing.

I hope Lorelei and Emily are friends in the new season. I want to see a hug!

I'm rewatching this now and really struggling to like Lorelai now I have kids. That awful, kooky ineptness! I keep wanting to slap her and tell her to grow up and start acting like an adult and a parent because that's what her daughter needs!
