Originally it was shown on nickelodeon when it first came out years ago so will definitely be fine for your DD. I think the themes of the show are probably exactly what she needs for her age especially the first couple of series and as others have said its all handled well and personally I think Loralei is very human compared to a lot of female leads on TV.

Can't get her in Bad Santa out of my head though

Im watching the episode in series 7 where Richard has had a heart attack.
Emily is crying and I love her. And Logan is being amazing and I love him too

Yes, what a baby, running away in a sulk when Richard is in hospital! And I don't get the problem he has with Luke? Christopher was the one who tried to entice Lorelai away when she was with Luke, he was the one she cheated with, all Luke did was be in a relationship I know he punched Christopher once but it was well deserved so he's just a man child

Chris hates Luke because he basically acted as a father figure to Rory while Chris was off being an irresponsible idiot.

I LOVE the scene at the wedding where Luke gives the big 'where were you?' speech to Chris. I hate how he wants to swan back into the Gilmore's lives when he feels like it.

DS1 & I just watched the trailer for the new episodes.

He thinks we should rewatch seasons 1 to 7 before next Friday.

We decided that the first episode of S1 and the last episode of S7 is more achievable.

Second that sounds like a better plan!

I was trying to time it so I'd finish watching when the new ones came out but I've hoovered them up so fast I'm going to run out.

I'm halfway through series 7. Christopher has just disappeared which is a relief and Lane has had her twins.

At this stage, Lane is one of my favourite characters I think.
And I still love Logan. I know I shouldn't but I really really do

So the new ones are "a year in the life" of the gilmore girls, how far after the original series is it set?

New ones are all released at once. Coming out on Friday here in the US but I'm guessing it'll probably be the same in the UK.

I hope Mrs Kim is going to be in it, she's my favourite character.

I've just had a horrible thought. It's been nine years. Paul Anka the Dog will probably have died, won't he? 😥🐶

I know that I have probably asked this before, but what is the best way to watch the new episodes if I do not have Netflix? Do I just need to wait a couple of years until they put them on E4/ 5* or can you buy just one series off Netflix? If I am honest, I do not really understand what Netflix is. Sorry for the boring post.

Netflix is a site you can sign up to and watch on a laptop or iPad. You can also watch it through a smart tv or apple box if you have one.
They do a one month free trial for new users so you could sign up and cancel after you watch the Gilmore girls.

I have an old friend with some Paris tendencies: big pros and cons! She is great for comical statements, delivered deadpan, and even has a DH a bit like Doyle!
