I want live tennis!Sad

Raahh · 31/05/2016 12:38

Well, still very sunny here in South Manchester. It isn't set to last the week, though.
The dc are going to Scarborough tomorrow for the day with my mother. It is not going to be dry. They are used to playing on beaches in the rain, though.

Looking at all these replays- the crap conditions seem to be favouring the underdog all over the placeGrin

The live tennis is back - complete with very loud grunting! I'm trying to watch it as usual but the noises are very distracting...... Shock

hugoagogo · 31/05/2016 15:06

It looks hard work today, the ball is flying like a soggy pillow across the net!

Raahh · 31/05/2016 15:22

It definitely sounds like a lot of effort from Bautista Agut. Appalling conditions to play in. And Djok had the second set, but not as easily as the score might suggest.

Halep and Radwanska both out.

BagelGoesWalking · 31/05/2016 15:36

Shame about Halep and Radwanska, both good players.

Djokovic seemed to be clutching his neck:shoulder and grimacing a bit.

NoBarbaraGood · 31/05/2016 15:36

Fingers crossed for at least one other big upset today....

BagelGoesWalking · 31/05/2016 15:40

Where are you going on hols, Magi?

Raahh · 31/05/2016 15:42

How can they keep playing?

OP posts:
Raahh · 31/05/2016 15:43

And white towels near soggy wet clay? Are they on glue?

CremeEggThief · 31/05/2016 15:45

I'm glad to see Sam Stour go through. I prefer her to Simon Halep. Not too bothered about Radwanska losing either.

Come on Bautista!

CremeEggThief · 31/05/2016 15:45

*Stosur and Simon.

BagelGoesWalking · 31/05/2016 15:56

Off again. Feel sorry for the punters if they don't get their money back after such an abysmal day.

NoBarbaraGood · 31/05/2016 15:58

I hope RBA can regroup and come out thinking he can win.

CremeEggThief · 31/05/2016 16:19

In nearly 30 years of watching, this is the worst year weather wise I can remember Sad.

magimedi · 31/05/2016 16:27

Am off to Corfu, Bagel & can't wait.

Also hope RBA regroups & wins.

BagelGoesWalking · 31/05/2016 17:07

Oh how lovely!

Just caught up with the last episode of The Durrells last night - it looks so gorgeous. I would imagine the island will see a lot of tourists this year and next as a result of that series.

Have a wonderful time x

magimedi · 01/06/2016 11:43

Allez, Andy!! Grin

JaneJeffer · 01/06/2016 12:47

Djokovich scares me when he gets all aggressive and I think he scares the ball boys and girls too.

Raahh · 01/06/2016 14:02

Berdych has beaten FerrerSad

Looks like Richard is clawing back this set. Allez!
