i think that magic's right, in a way. they wouldn't have liked her anyway, that's for sure. too pretty, too classy, too erudite, too bossy. but she is indian and that's what they've picked on, so it's racist bullying as well as being bullying, iykwim?
funny thing is, i was just in the park chatting to an Indian woman who was complaining that her 3 year old wouldn't go to sleep until 10pm (should've directed her here) and that it is just as well that he sits still during BB.
i asked her what she thought of all the furore surrounding Shilpa and she just said 'i really don't know why people think that it would be any different in there to out here...'
at which point dd started screaming so no further discussion could be had, but i thought it was interesting ans rather puts it all into perspective, that we should all examine our own consciences...
