Nah, I think Greer is completely wrong. I don't think Shilpa is playing at all, I think she is genuine

Why don't people vote with their actions - stop watching! That'll hurt Channel 4 far more than complaints, and won't give the offenders the publicity they obviously crave. As BBC news says, all this piublicitiy in the press and media is giving Channel 4 even higher watching figures. If you really want it to stop - stop watching, then C4 will really get the message!

I don't want to stop! I want to keep watching.. and dissecting their behaviour.. that's what BB is all about. That's not to say I think anyone who doesn't want to should watch.

As I have said below, I think the behaviour od Danielle, Jo and Jade is shameful (and I think they WILL be given grief for it when they get out.. Jade's already been dropped by an anti-bullying charity.. altho not sure why they had her in the first place; she was a bully last time she was in BB as well! )... but I will just say that everyone going on the show, of their own free will (to boost flagging careers, raise their profile or just for a laugh) really should have been aware (and I'm sure they were) or what it can be like in the house. Eg the bitching and infantile goings on. Nobody has been made to go in.

It just makes me cringe and don't you think it is shameful and embarrassing for Britain, there are high profile international famous people in there behaving nicely and it will be attracting interest from all over the world....shudder. I can't watch...

I feel that it is plain bullying I don't really see the racist side - I was bullied at school and I do believe it stems from jealousy - Shilpa is a different class from them more than a different race they are threatened by her use of language and the unknown. They are three uneducated individuals who draw strength from bullying other I think they would have bullied Shilpa no matter what colour she is!

I think it comes from the fact Shilpa is different from them - therefore is racist IMO. Especially when they take the piss out of her (beautiful imo) accent and whether she eats with her hands.

I think she's right to some extent though, Shilpa's feelings may be real but she is also an experienced actor and about a million times more intelligent than the Jade brigade. So she will know exactly how to milk it in terms of giving them enough rope to hang themselves. Good luck to her, I hope she destroys them.
