Why wouldn't you like Breaking Bad?

I'm gutted my brother can't get into it as he hates all the characters. It took me two attempts and I wasn't hooked until season 2 usually we have the same tastes so I'm disappointed really. He said he's not the only one that didn't like it but I'm hard pushed to find another person. Damn, I was really looking forward to talking to
Him about it!

It took me a few episodes to get into it but then I was hooked. That was until about half way through second to last season. TBH I lost so much interest by time I got to the last season that I only really bothered continuing to watch because I hated not seeing it through to the end when I had invested so much time already. If I had watched it as it aired I might not have bothered finishing it at all, but I was binge watching whilst on mat leave early last year.

I loved BB. From episode 1 - I thought that episode was complete genius. And carried on in the same vein. But not for everyone, obviously.

I watched five episodes but I just didn't feel particularly interested in it and nothing was driving me to watch another one. People kept telling me it would take a few seasons before I would get into it, but why would I watch hours of something I found boring in case I might enjoy it later?

I found Breaking Bad to be like Kenan and Kel but with meth instead of orange soda.

DH watched the whole box set. I went to bed early those nights.
