Has anyone thought anything might be going on with the poor sod whose hair Marcella ripped out, and who's always getting snubbed by everyone? Sorry, I know I need to read the whole thing

I had a flight of fancy and thought maybe he's always been a bit in love with Marcella, and knew about the affair.... so was somehow involved with Grace's murder, and is also in a good spot to plant or move evidence. And everyone is always really dismissive of him. And now they have some of his hair, just randomly....

The young call-girl who was killed mentioned that she stole from a married guy -that could' be Matthew, living with partner and was spending a night in a car probably shagging someone - he could be bi- obviously but nobody could have guessed so far. That he's a cheat was easy to guess.
Re Grace's pendant I think she didn't steal it, she bought it in pawn shop where she sold her stolen stuff. Henry of course could have sold it there if he killed Grace.

I think it's reasonably clear now. It's either that Matthew is the serial killer and Henry just killed Grace, and now hopes to pin Grace on Matthew because he's now suspect number one. Or option two, Henry killed them all but got the info on victims from Matthew AND got to wear his hoodie - unlikely tbh, though at least Henry didn't have a bad back.
Matthew must have had an assistant due to his back - Cullen's baker friend? he was stabbed (we KNOW that) and if he assisted Matthew he could have had his hoodie, also knew all the details of Cullen's murders..

Still can't remember how/where did the police got the hoodie of Matthew's?

When they raided the palace that Jan shares with Matthew I think.

But I don't think we saw that.

Did the man with ms bump off his lodger cos he knew the lodger was blackmailing him?

I think it was was genuine enough, the lodger killing himself. I didn't like him.

He was super creepy. Did Jason tell man with MS to sort the blackmail problem?

But there's still no explanation for how it came about that the first taxi driver was shot, as no one knew what he told Marcella in the underpass except his brother, unless it is him but I don't think it was.

Again last night it was a case of the disappearing scab/wound like Jason's in past episodes on his nose.
Marcella was neck-sliced by the "brother" taxi driver and told him she moved Graces body.
Then she woke up at her house.

Then she went into work and got told off for being late and she definitely had a plaster on her neck.

Then the scene at the kids school, she was plaster and wound-free - the very same day.

So is it relevant or not, and did she actually move the body like she said she did, and if so, why?

Hopefully all will be revealed tonight but surely all the millions of loose ends can't be tied up in just one hour.

If we're left with cliffhangers in order to make way for a second series I will punch myself

hahaha Party! You know it's gonna happen. Bet it will be left as an unsatisfactory ending (like other possibilities of killer) so they can do a second series, like Broadchurch! I bet it's wrapped up in the last 15 mins.

Gypsy, yes. MS spoke to creepy guy and they split the 15k. The police now have creepy guys money and phone showing pics of Jason handing an envelope to MS guy but they've not done anything about it yet. Laura has acted quite strangely about it - in not quite sure what's going on there.

Glad Marcella fessed up to her kids about Jason. Her daughter was behaving like a bit of a brat.

Lodgers death was accidental.
Who on earth repaired the rip in the hoodie? It had about a ton of red thread on it.

I wondered about the repair on the hoodie too. There are so many loose ends to tie up in one hour. They're not going to have it all worked out are they.

The thing about lodger's death though was that it was bloody handy and Mr Ms didn't seem that fazed by it.

The father of May also wore a dark hoodie, he pulled it on after he got the call to go out and I wondered then whether he was in the man in the premier inn footage. What I can't understand, one many things in fairness, is what the attack on the older man with the dog was about?
