So was it Henry who's done all the murders, and not just Grace (he was on our suspect list for Grace), and he was getting info on all the victims from Matthew? That would only be possible if Henry stole/borrowed Matthew's jacket - and it is possible of course. Or was M the killer and came to confess to Henry - but then isn't it very convenient that M (out of all people) turned out to be the killer and walked into Henry's hands with a confession? that would be a poor piece of writing suspense. But if Matthew came to accuse Henry - again, would he do that if he suspected H is a dangerous killer, friend or no friend?
Matthew couldn't have leapt over the fence with his bad back (another 'news' sprung up on viewers!) - so I suppose that points to Henry again (or an accomplice? someone who stole/copied keys to houses for the killer - i.e. little girl's father)?
Does anyone remember how did police find the jacket? The man in hoodie had only lost the hotel key in the garden - not the jacket. Why the HECK then did they show Cullen's friend the baker with the shoulder stab wound? is there going t be another twist regarding that - if not that's an unacceptable misleading of the viewers.
And yes, very convenient for the lodger to die and provide his phone to the police just when they started investigating Jason.
I did always say that Jan is too weak/emotional to be the killer, but Matthew and Henry (and Sylvie) both very cool/calculated. Now of course she is cracking up emotionally, finally - but we didn't know she would.
Henry really did look the part in last ep - all charm and acting and then a cold stare. Matthew just isn't interesting enough to make it as the main villain somehow.
