I cannot wait for dodgy lodger to die!

IHeartTyrion · 10/05/2016 22:23

Blondeshavemorefun Because she thought she was having an affair with her husband.

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2016 22:28

Oh. Thanks heart

I need things explained to me lol

Tho surely no mum would stoop that low to keep her husband - who says he didn't like her like that anyway?

IHeartTyrion · 10/05/2016 22:40

To be fair I'm just clutching at straws but I think anything is possible with this one!

Blondeshavemorefun · 10/05/2016 23:21

😂😂😂

Inkanta · 11/05/2016 05:33

'I know this drama goes out after the watershed, but I think it was too much graphic detail.'

Agree. It's been way too graphic from the start. There was no need to show the death of the child like that. Good grief!

bornwithaplasticspoon · 11/05/2016 10:45

Was the child lying face down tied up a dummy? Bloody hope so.

How the young actor's parents could bear to watch it, I don't know.

FuckoffDM · 11/05/2016 11:05

Grace's mother doesn't seem like a grieving parent does she?

I finally felt like I understood who was who in this week's episode! Yay!

I do think that the ginger hair on the victim could be planted or just happened to be on someone else (most likely his boyfriend).

Jason does seem to like having his meetings in wide open areas doesn't he, preferably rooftops.

Grace's mother is definitely a cold-hearted bitchy character. Nasty to Henry with her cruel put-downs, and she is ALL about greed/money really, and to some extent her DP. Grace wanted to put a spanner into the money-grabbing business deal. - though imo she was trying to prove her status and maybe wouldn't haev gone too far. And then she suspected her DP was attracted to Grace (probably seen his car parked at G's house - whattever he as doing there) - she could have flown into rage and hit Grace without even meaning to kill her. The if G dies as a result they could haev put the bag on etc to mislead police (but it wasn't the mum dong that - whoever helped her, I hope not Henry, but he is the one who knew about the murders by visitng Marcella's house).
I think she is upset and grieving about Grace, she's just very controlled - but I don't think it's as important to her as the business/money, she hasn't softened a bit since the death, still greedy and unscrupulous, and once more nasty to Henry. She may still crack up but her demeanour now is 'it's all shit, the only thing I can control is my business so to hell with people'. Hardly a happy face, is she!

LovePGtipsMonkey · 12/05/2016 00:54

obv Jason also knew about the murders from M's pictures at home but I doubt it that he was capable of staging it on Grace who he was in love with, just to protect Sylvie or whoever hit Grace. And I don't think Jason killed her. He was too shocked/upset at the time - though doesn't seem to be still grieving now! This series does stretch the reality way too far- that includes Jason's quick switch from genuine grieving/shock to being all business-like and having family dinners, ridiculous! He was with the woman for three years! suddenly a couple of weeks after her brutal death he is all about business deals and warning Marcella's men off - just so annoying!

bornwithaplasticspoon · 12/05/2016 09:04

I'm so confused. Feel like I need to watch it all again. Does anyone have a theory as to why in episode one Marcella was in the bath covered in blood and mud?

FuckoffDM · 12/05/2016 09:07

I saw AF on Alan Carr last week and she said that there may be more than 1 killer

ShangriLaLaLa · 12/05/2016 09:32

I don't buy Jason's story about the trip to hospital. It's the first instance that Marcella has no flashbacks whatsoever and doesn't realise she's been in a fugue. It's news to her but she just accepts it. It doesn't fit with the way her story has unfolded, either. He's a bad boy but I don't know what this means, simply that he's misleading Marcella for some reason.

Can't wait for this to be over. My daily post exercise soak in the bath has been ruined by the anticipation of a bag for life over my head. 😩

MangoMoon · 12/05/2016 10:28

A bag for life Grin

HalleLouja · 12/05/2016 10:36

Fuckoff I thought there might be more than one other killer.

I think they could have spared poor May. That was too much I think.

I am now watching it to the end as need to understand what is going on.

Cocolepew · 12/05/2016 11:17

I have no idea who is supossed to have been murdered by who. Is it the same murderer? Theres way too many people in it, I only realised who the bloke with the lodger was when Polish guy was blackmailing him.
Im so confuesed. Its shit but I need to keep going, I cant give up

FuckoffDM · 12/05/2016 11:58

I think this is right -

Landlord (with the Polish lodger) killed the bloke in the paper (can't remember his name) at the request of Jason (although he says that's not what he wanted him to do)

Other than that, we don't know who the killer(s) are yet. It's all a bit bonkers, but I've found it entertaining and looking forward to the final episodes next week.

musicinspring1 · 12/05/2016 14:39

I don't think the landlord killed the planning officer himself - I think he ordered the dad delivery van guy to do it? He got a text saying 'new job ££££' or something along those lines and went off , leaving May. The landlord is the fixer? Or am I super confused?!?! (Likely!)

FuckoffDM · 12/05/2016 14:53

oh, I thought he was a genuine delivery driver

bornwithaplasticspoon · 12/05/2016 14:56

Professor Plum with the candlestick in the study

RaeSkywalker · 12/05/2016 14:59

Stupid question- is Grace's Mum not Henry's Mum? I'm guessing that they're step siblings or something?

musicinspring1 · 12/05/2016 18:09

Oh man. I'm even more confused now! ConfusedGrin
