What's really annoyed me tonight, among other things, is Jason and his disappearing nose scab, which is present in some scenes and totally absent in others.

I started watching this on catchup but had to stop as I can't watch anything like that (DD is 7). I saw until the dad started to phone the girls mobile and you saw her in the boot. Can anyone give an indication (without telling me anything too traumatic) whether I could maybe miss some and watch the rest of the episode from, say 10 mins after this?? DH is the same, he couldn't watch it either.

Ponytailed man- is he called Marrec? He's really frightening me.

Honeymoon- they traced the car but found it burnt out. Marcella saw the little girl flat on the floor (face down) tied up and ran to her, gave her mouth to mouth etc but she was dead, drowned in shallow water. Marcella was calling her Juliet. We now know that Marcella's dd. Juliet would be six now but we don't know how she died. DNA on the hair in the babysitters hands idenitifies Yan, who goes bonkers when arrested and grabs Marcella by the throat. He then has a panic attack when put in a cell. Marrick/Marrec, ponytailed man, has all sorts of dirt on the bloke whose house he's in and so is insisting on staying on there even though he's been asked to leave. Jason hands money to that bloke (the one with MS) and is photographed doing it, pics sent to his 'phone. Um... not sure what else to cover. Oh, Marcella is bashed over the head in her home by Moroccan bloke in Hoodie.

Did anyone else think the bit with the little girl was totally uneccessary? It was very disturbing and don't see how it fits in with the rest of the plot - although its hard too make out what exactly is happening. Made me regret watching any of it tbh and I was enjoying it upon until tonight.
