I also don't get why the building company features so prominently. Grace & Jason worked there but that's no reason to have boardroom scenes etc. Any scenes at all really. Unless one of them is the killer. Or it's all padding.

At least I know who Grace's mother & brother are. As characters I mean, knowing he was in GoT was an unnecessary distraction

Yes it makes sense now as the "illegal" cab driver was panicking as he obviously had something to hide.

All these twists and turns are unnecessary and are obscuring the plot far too much.
Perhaps it was Grace carrying Marcella that the cabbie saw, and Grace's "accomplice" who was in the flat later killed Grace and dumped Marcella after joining them in the car.
I dunno.

I know we don't want it all handed to us on a plate, but also, last night there was all this "double image of the same person type vision in the window" - it is ridiculous - what's the bloody point of it? Jason was seen in such a shot and so was someone else. Bloody silly.

And why does absolutely no-one SMILE? They're all miserable as sin. It's totally joyless.

But yes after all that, I'm still watching as it's sort of hooked me in, and I want to know who/who's/dunnit.

Fawn, to add to Zebra's reply - it's a common practice that illegal drivers get to drive their legal friends' cabs sometimes, and have to share their pay in exchange. So she talked to the driver who she THOUGHT was the only owner of the cab on cctv - he tells her he didn't see anything (he wasn't actually there) - and then when he tells this to his illegal friend, the friend says he did see a woman - and then is being told to go and hide, i.e. he will not supply witness evidence.

Fawn, I also thought that whoever the 'woman' was, she may be carrying Marcella to her car while M was having a blackout - and dropping her off in her flat. BUT M has flashbacks of the forest where G was buried - so seems like both were in the car (M and dead Grace) as these flashbacks were distressing, as if she saw the burial.
I think think that whoever put the bag on Grace's head, could have got the idea from photos on M's wall at home (when dropping her off).
Unless it was after all her H - it could possibly be that killing Grace was some dreadful accident and he just had to mislead the police but as he did love her, feels horrendous - and wants to be beaten up. But I think more likely the mother was involved .
Interesting idea re her partner being a cross dresser! maybe she let him do it in her house, but mother spied on im and saw his car parked at Grave's and jumped to conclusion that he slept with G - and then either had a fight with G and killed her by accident - or deliberately.
Who else a woman can be - that just leaves a police woman, the boss, hmmm.

Fiderer - pretty sure that one of the business characters is involved in Grace's murder (and only hers) - could be the mother. After the last ep dont think it's mother's P. That's the problem - we form opinions then something comes to light about everyone.

Cullen actor was excellent in the last ep - that 'kindly' face, yet unblinking psychotically shining eyes, low-key but chilling. That look when he followed Maddy with his eyes on the street - with the reddened eyelids!

Must be - otherwise just padding. Think they should all wear name badges so I can follow it all.

Who is beardy man & who is he with? Matthew? Who he?

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one wondering who Matthew is.

Fiderer, Mathew is one half of the gay couple, BF of the ginger-bearded man. They featured quite a bit in previous episodes - did you watch them?

It was portrayed at first that ginger man is jealous of Henry because Matthew (his BF) seems to really like and get on with Henry, while being a bit off-hand with the ginger guy. Ginger guy is weird - he laughed when he told them the story of that woman's corpse leaking through floor-boards - ep1 when the shop owner with the small dog found the body upstairs.
Then there was Henry upset after Grace's death - with them in a pub, Mathew jumped to comfort him, Ginger looked jealous. BUT of course it seems that he either fancies Henry himself (with that eyes closing during the hug) or he hates him with a passion, and it's possible he's the killer who dreams of killing Henry hence that reaction. Physically he fits the guy in balaklava dimensions (but so does the Baker)..
It does really help to watch is recorded, to stop and process what they say - otherwise too much fast=talking and too much info.

what I mean by the hug/eyes closing - it's when he took Henry to the forest in last ep - before that he was extremely distant/hands-off.

but no good people smiling, well apart from the nice policeman (who fancies Marcella) - I do hope he's not a villain too going by the smiling. But we might find out all sorts about him in next episodes! which is frustrating - agree that building one picture than ruining it is unfair, though sometimes it does happen in RL too.

DH and I have been watching this. What a strange accent Anna Friel has ,- "me hoosband". I can't take her seriously at all, and what's with the bloody coat? plot is plain silly. Also, the actor playing her husband can't act to save his life. We will probably see it through to the end now though, and we have come this far.

It's easier when you watch it with subtitles.

Marking as I'm catching up watching. I'm a bit faceblind but glad to know I'm not the only one with problems with the characters!

There was another woman in an earlier episode who I don't think is being talked about here - the one that spent the night with the prostitute girl and had something stolen. She could be the one who threatened her online.

No idea what the weeing runner has to do with anything

NotJ, yes there was a woman but tbh the nature of crimes - overpowering the victims, strangleholds (both men and women) point to a man. Also the baker fits the physical type, AND we've seen him breaking into someone house without damaging doors/windows - and that's how the killer usually got in (no idea how he does that!) - so I thin the Baker is much more of a candidate than any woman.

Grace is separate (I still think a different killer), but no connection to that woman.
No doubt we might find out something yet about that woman - or she only featured to show how the call-girl operates regarding the stealing from clients.

The runner - I'm sure there'll be more on him in the next ep. he wasn't random. He may have been hired to kill the difficult businessman by Grace's mother!? at least they've portrayed that as an option.

Ginger bearded guy is definitely a possible, alongside the Baker - and now also the jogger. It's a question what ELSE they will come up with in next episode, as it's their usual game to spring some unexpected details about characters on the viewers each time. Physically and psychologically though, these three fit the bill.

I think if M's husbands did kill anyone, it's only be Grace but by some dreadful accident, e.g. while trying to stop the two women fighting - hence he wants to be beaten up. Abd yes - he does know about the other killers' style so could have imitated it with the bag, and also knows about M's blackouts. Yet still, a bit of a long shot. I'm sure he didn't kill the rest.

Really enjoying this series but so confusing I like that it make you think ....

I am not sure if I have missed something I don't know why Bendik (?) is staying with that couple and who they are and who he is
