These people are just in a completely different league, technically and creatively, to anything a home baker could hope to produce.

It makes what they do hard to relate to.

They shouldn't have used the GBBO brand, bit misleading, it's nothing like GBBO. No fun, no humour.

It's OK but it's not gbbo is it ? The French one was amazing. Not sure how each week is working, will there be different groups then finals? Part of the charm of gbbo is getting to know the people.

I'm bored too. They're clearly very talented and what they produce looks amazing but I'm just not engaging with the contestants or the judges. Someone wrote on Twitter that this is GBBO stripped of all its charm and personality; I agree!

They need to wear different clothes, I know the captain has a coloured stripe but because they all look the same it's hard to tell who is in whose team.

Thing is.... it's all so totally beyond the comprehension of Joe Public with all these techniques, equipment never seen or used before, poncey terms etc... it's hrd to get into.
