Is it just me or is Morven THE most annoying character ever?!

We don't watch Casualty and it was only because I gathered from the Holby trailer that it was a crossover that we downloaded it to watch. IMO what a pile o shite! The whole " feel" of Holby is far superior.

The acting was shocking, notably Charlie. How he's managed 30 years surviving on one expression is beyond me.

And did anyone else feel that Hannsen and Jacs weren't giving their all and phoning it in?

Been meaning to come on here for days to crow 'I was right!!!!'.

Flippin' Bernie and Serena ... even though we saw it coming, I do feel a tad disappointed it's gone down that route.

Was anyone else a bit confused by this week's episode? I don't watch Casualty so some of the references were a bit lost on me. I went back to watch it on catch up .... but perhaps that was going a bit too far. (BTW how come Charlie is still in it? Shouldn't he be about 104 by now?)

Have zosia and olly split up? Switched on the other eve and he was snogging some random new blonde woman in the bar!

A few "Oooh!" and "oh..." moments plus cringeworthy moments, a yay and a short spot of Henrik. Just what you expect from Holby really.

Optimist1 - yes, I think so :( He can see how much she wants a baby and his heart's not in it so he's letting her go.

It certainly seems like it. I was waiting for Sascha to finish by saying " but now I want a baby as much as you" or something. I wasn't expecting them to split.

I guess they had to merge briefly because dropping a helicopter on the car park would be hard to ignore in Holby. :)

Caught up last night. Absolutely gutted about Mo and Mr T. Finding Serena and Bernie a bit unbelievable (an unbelievable storyline on Holby? What am I thinking? ) and relieved Essie and Sacha are done.

I hope they ditch the Bernie/Serena storyline. It's shit.

I can't help thinking that Fiancée Inga is not here for good. She's too bloody irritating already - perhaps they'll do a Bonnie on her.

As an aside, isn't Mr T a obstetrician/gynaecologist? Why was he playing at being a oncologist?

Hmm because he's a generic doctor and anyone can do anything on Holby!

The patient had cervical cancer originally, something gynaecologists treat.
I guess I'm the only one who quite liked the excruciating awkwardness of Bernie and Serena then.
Also relieved Essie and Sacha are done.

That awkwardness was very well portrayed, rivier and although I didn't like the plot going in the direction of a relationship between the two I forgave the scriptwriters a bit for this week's tiptoeing around each other.

Much as I like Sasha as a character, and have no objections to Essie, he falls in love too easily with people who are essentially wrong. Perhaps he should try being single for a while and enjoy the family he has before looking for The One?

I did like the awkwardness because it was done so well. However, I think it needs to end there ant not continue into a relationship. I don't think it should have continued as far as Serena having drinks in her office as some kind of tentative date. It seems so out of character for her.

I liked the close friendship they had.

I wouldn't kick Hansen out of bed.
