Not long now, I assume. Does anybody know when it starts? It was April last year.

To keep us all going, I just found that www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/exclusive-pictures-season-6HBO has released some photos from the series. Some of them suggest certain plot developments, so don't look if you don't like spoilers! I do like them, and have read all the books, but I think we're now into unknown territory, as the TV version is outpacing George R R Martin.

Does anyone else have any info about series 6?

Loved it! Ticked a lot of boxes. Can't wait for chat to start this eve!

Could not wait till the evening and read the Guardian recap. Need to be more patient.

I was sooooo tempted to stay up and watch but gave myself a good talking too and went to bed. Kids already bathed and almost ready for bed (even the 10 year old) as persuaded them that they really need an early night. I taped it last night and I'm dying to watch it.

I've seen it - woke up early and watched it on NOW TV before I got the baby up.
Looking forward to discussing theories etc...

I loved it. Lots going on.

I liked it. It was mainly a recap though, so we all know where people are in their storyline. Michael McElhatton, that is Roose, is so good. Wow!

It was not in this episode, so no spoiler, but speculation. Do people really expect Sansa to raise and lead an army? She had literally no training in politics or military affairs and until recently she was not too clued up (I am being polite). I really want her to be safe and kill Ramsay, but an army is a completely different matter. I know Littlefinger gave her lessons, but he is not charismatic or experinced himself like that. (Sorry Aidan Gillen). Theon is not exactly popular in the North, no one would follow him.

Sunnymeg · 26/04/2016 09:21

I still see Sansa as a trophy wife. She has learnt to play the game politically, but Brienne will fight her battles. I also think Bran will warg and bring Jon back to life, or he will occupy his body and act through him.

MintyChapstick · 26/04/2016 09:29

I loved it. Especially liked the scene where Brienne arrived to rescue Sansa and Theon.

SagaNorensLeatherTrousers · 26/04/2016 11:21

Loved it. Such a surprise with the red woman. I've seen a theory about that but I don't know if it's bad form to speculate? I whooped when Brienne showed up, and the sand snakes scene was surprising. I still find Dany's stuff boring. Hmm I wish I didn't!

ICanSeeForMiles · 26/04/2016 11:27

I don't mind Dany's storyline, but I certainly don't look forward to it with anticipation. Last season Arya bored me to tears, hopefully now she's been thrown out she might became a bit more exciting. Other than that, it's all very promising for the forthcoming episodes.

gingercat12 · 02/05/2016 22:43

I understand no spoilers, so all I would like to say is that the Bolton storyline is very weak. Clearly keeps the show in the headlines, but just so silly and unlikely.
