Game of Thrones series 6

Not long now, I assume. Does anybody know when it starts? It was April last year.

To keep us all going, I just found that www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/exclusive-pictures-season-6HBO has released some photos from the series. Some of them suggest certain plot developments, so don't look if you don't like spoilers! I do like them, and have read all the books, but I think we're now into unknown territory, as the TV version is outpacing George R R Martin.

Does anyone else have any info about series 6?

I watch it as it comes out on Now TV. they usually have a catch up show and preview show you can watch before the new series starts. Also allows you to watch ThroneCast for the real GoT geeks.

We do Now Tv too. We bought a box especially to watch G of Ts last year. It cost about £35 from eBay and came with three months free subscription, which got us through the whole series. Now we pay £6.50 a month. There's a lot of other good things available too on it. I'm really impressed with it. I'm much too mean to ever have something like Sky!

I'm going to get a 3-month subscription to NOW TV and watch it on my laptop. Worked well last year. It was available to watch from very early on Monday morning and I don't work on Mondays, whoop whoop! so could catch up immediately.

Series 5 boxed set is winging its way to me now! Huge catch up operation can commence so I'm ready for series 6. Can hardly wait.

I've finally watched season 5 and now can't wait for season 6.

That scene with Shireen really disturbed me though

I've bought a NOW TV box and 6 months ents for £19 on Amazon the other day for the sole reason to watch season 6 as shown!
I thought s5 was a bit slow compared to the rest of them but finished on a high.
I'm counting down the days til April 24!!

Really excited about the new season, revisiting season 5 to refresh !

I'm very excited about it starting again, just recently had a marathon GOT catch up watching season 1-5 at the end of my mat leave so at the moment I am currently reading the book and really enjoying it!

I think rather than 'outpacing' the books, the show is diverging from the books and will have a different outcome.
See season 5 - they seem to include certain milestones from the books, but they get there in completely different ways and angles with their characters who for the most part only share their names with their boom counterparts.
But I suppose if you consider the show to be a separate entity it's not so bad watching it...

No spoilers but a LOT of speculation and POSSIBLE spoilers if the people analysing the trailer are correct!

I am not one to go though it frame by frame, but if the trailer is anything to go by it will be an amazing season for Lannister fans. In terms of quotes at least, probably not their longevity.

I loved Jamie's comment about the bloodthirsty gods. They clearly took on board GRRM's attitude to gods in the books. Jaime might also get his brain back, who knows?

I can't wait for Brienne and Jaime to team up again. I know dream on.

People say it was Loras comforting Margery. I thought it was Theon and got quite confused.

Was the serious-looking woman Theon's sister - whatever she is called in the show?

What will Littlefinger do? Walk in and randomly find Sansa?

So will there be RW 2? My money is on yes. Although now they have to reintroduce hundreds of storylines for it to make sense.
