Not long now, I assume. Does anybody know when it starts? It was April last year.

To keep us all going, I just found that www.makinggameofthrones.com/production-diary/exclusive-pictures-season-6HBO has released some photos from the series. Some of them suggest certain plot developments, so don't look if you don't like spoilers! I do like them, and have read all the books, but I think we're now into unknown territory, as the TV version is outpacing George R R Martin.

Does anyone else have any info about series 6?

We have restarted our NowTV subscription in preparation for season 6.

Currently rewatching season 5 (to avoid me having to Red Wedding DH when new season begins and we have endless who/where/why/when questions)

Just been totally choked up over Stannis telling Shireen how much he cares about her. DH was all, "I don't think I can watch that bit again"

I'm a longtime lurker who has watched all the series and is halfway through the books, but have sought out all the spoilers and theories I can find...delurking to say

DH genuinely thinks Jon Snow is proper dead and has no idea about R+L=J. I'm so excited about the new series, especially his reaction if it all happens as expected!

I am so excited about GoT coming back! I have read all the books too so really nervous about not knowing what's happening. I quite liked being the smug viewer who could guess what was happening!

Jon Snow cannot be dead but Greyworm was on Soccer Am yesterday and kept hinting he's dead but not dead (so melisandre could bring him back).
So excited I am so tempted to go to our new house Monday night where we have Sky just to watch it rather than wait until Friday when we move in properly.

Can't believe I only figured out for the last episode of season 5 that you don't have to stay up until 9pm to watch it - it's shown at 2am when it airs in the US and available on sky on demand any time thereafter. Tonight's 4am feed is going to be much more enjoyable!

I get up at 5:15am with my daughter, so paw patrol on the IPad for her, and GoT for me!

I am avoiding the internet tomorrow until after I have watched it. My plan is to get the kids dropped off at school and then sod the housework and watch it. However I often find myself waking at 4am for no reason so may watch it then if that happens.

I'm working tomorrow so won't see it until 9pm when it's been broadcast. So will be avoiding you all until then lol

I'd never post any spoilers or discussion until after it's been broadcast at 9pm and I'm watching it again - would be bad form.

I'm recording it at 2am to watch in the morning. I bet I wake up before 6am like it's xmas. If I wake at about 4am needing the loo, I might just watch it quietly.

Recorded it at 2am and got up at 5am to watch it. In the middle of it now.

Even DH said do you think I should watch it? Everyone else seems to do so.
