Rick had his "I must clear all the dead" episodes after Lori died too. He does it when he feels useless I think.

It was a mad moment from Rick, definitely. But it worked. I wonder if Fr Gabriel now has a taste for smiting sinners?

Brilliant episode BUT i agree Carl really should be dead, there's no way he'd survive a shot through the eye like that. And even if loads of walkers died by fire and Rick n co killed loads more there were hundreds of the buggers, there's no way they would have been able to kill them all. I'm watching Talking Dead to see if they can explain it.

One of the best episodes to date I think. I wasn't expecting them to eat Sam!

So obviously Sam saying "Mom" as they stepped out of the house at the end of the last episode was a red herring? Baby Judith is the quietest baby who ever lived. Fr Gabriel whisked her under his poncho and strode off into the walkers and there wasn't a peep out of her.

Glad to see the end of the Dave Grohl lookalike Wolf with the manky teeth.

Oh my god, that was incredible! I think my blood pressure is dangerously high now!

The Wolf was on Talking Dead...he's actually got really nice teeth, is rather good looking and has a gorgeous Australian accent

I had a vague notion of stuff that would happen but that was a shitstorm. That was really well filmed. Talk about a rollercoaster!

Cracking episode. Had the usual cull of characters which is good. Gets rid of the dead wood.

Darryl is my favourite male character. Silent but violent.

OK, at what point have we been shown Walkers will just wander into flame like lemmings off a cliff? I've clearly missed something because the gang seemed to know exactly what would happen. Have we ever seen Walkers drawn into fire like that? Is it the heat? Movement of the flames? The delicious barbecue smell?

Like moths to a flame!

It does make you wonder why it is they haven't set fires before!

Stormy Greg nicotero said on The talking dead that he wasn't shot directly in the eye. It shattered his socket bone and fragments went in his eye. It happens in the graphic novel.

Really enjoyed this episode. I was getting a little bored tbh but this has revived it for me.

Imaginary the people they met in the burnt out woods said they'd set it alight to draw the walkers in and get rid of them en mass to clear the area.
