I see it's on Fox tonight: S6 E7
Is that us back from the mid season break, or is it a repeat of what we were watching before xmas?

Also the third guest who isn't on twd has basically been ignored the whole show.

StDogolphin · 15/03/2016 17:53

I hope all the attention on MM in the press is a diversion to lead us away from who really dies!

Smashie11 · 15/03/2016 22:54

Just a bit of info - I think I remember back a bit in this thread someone mentioned going to a walking dead convention. Well it's coming back to London next March. The tickets go on sale on Thursday, presale has already started, got my tickets Grin. Search Walker Stalker Convention on fb. My family and I had an amazing time last year and met loads of the cast. Prices are steep but we thought it was worth every penny.

VertigoNun · 15/03/2016 23:29

How much is it?

TwllBach · 16/03/2016 09:23

I spent half the episode wondering if carol was faking it too, like when they went to Alexandria and she played the downtrodden housewife card. Then I decided she wasn't faking it and was a bit disappointed - I expect so much more from her! I suppose everyone has a breaking point though.

Maggie was as hard as nails in that episode.

Smashie11 · 16/03/2016 09:46

VertigoNun - a day pass is £42, weekend pass is £85, think VIP is £190, gold VIP roughly £500 and platinum VIP £1150. we went regular VIP last year and had a ball.

MaryPoppinsPenguins · 16/03/2016 13:23

I went to Walker Stalker. So did my brother and a few of his friends and we all hated it and left after about 40 minutes. What they charge for a photo is Obscene. Never again.

Smashie11 · 16/03/2016 14:34

That's a shame that you didn't enjoy it. Yes the photo ops are expensive but we saved up and got the ones that we really wanted. We go to a lot of these kinds of conventions and price wise, considering it's a very popular current TV series, it is what I expected.

BingoBonkers · 17/03/2016 14:28

I said to DH last night when we watched it that MM on Talking Dead was very subdued. Lacked sparkle or even enthusiasm. All very odd! Maybe she is the one who will be killed off next.

saoirse31 · 18/03/2016 07:23

I thought she had a pain in her face listening to the one who played Paula tbh!

I wouldn't read too much into it, as I expect they're well briefed on what to say, how to act on talking dead including leading viewers astray... But I hope she doesn't die...

EricNorthmanSucks · 18/03/2016 07:59

I think MM is a fairly thoughtful, collected person in real life.

Her interviews are all very low key.

The perfect foil for Alicia Witt, who is much more excitable. I actually thought AW was brilliant in that episode. I wish we were going to see more of her - missed opportunity there.

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 18/03/2016 08:24

My guess, if she was quiet because she was upset about anything, would be that she had just acted a brilliant episode yet whatshisface was all over AW

TwllBach · 18/03/2016 09:52

Facebook spoilered me yesterday Sad all because I read an article about Andrew Lincoln... I carried on scrolling down on my news feed and related articles came up and told me who dies! I didn't even click on them!

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 18/03/2016 10:16

Same. I would have looked anyway, i like spoiling it for myself, but it was on my news feed on fb without clicking anything

CauliflowerBalti · 18/03/2016 10:54

The Talking Dead Alicia Witt/Melissa McBride interview - I actually interpreted it as Melissa McBride really, really doesn't like Alicia Witt...

BingoBonkers · 18/03/2016 13:03

Cauliflower I thought they had a bit of huge mutual appreciation society thing going on!

BingoBonkers · 18/03/2016 13:03

AW seemed familiar. Couldn't place her.

CauliflowerBalti · 18/03/2016 13:23

The words were all lovely, but the body language and eyes - particularly MM - just weren't. AW was trying too hard to convince the world they were best buds, MM just didn't seem to be joining in.

Something definitely going on in MM's head during that interview - maybe not this though.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 18/03/2016 17:10

AW seemed familiar.Couldn't place her

She seems to film a lot of Made-For-TV Christmas Schmalzy films Wink

iklboo · 18/03/2016 18:10

She was in Cybill (awful Cybill Shepherd sitcom in the 80s/90s)

Angelto5 · 18/03/2016 19:25

I remember AW from the Hugh Grant/Sandra Bullock film Two Weeks Notice.

ElderlyKoreanLady · 18/03/2016 21:39

Finally managed to watch Talking Dead. AW has far too much to say about the one episode (plus about 3 lines from prev episode) that she was in TWD. And very much agree that we can't read too much into how subdued MM was...her body language said an awful lot about how she feels about AW. And I can't really blame her. AW was exhausting just to watch...especially the anecdote/inside joke she tried to have with MM where the long and short of it was she dribbled a bit of water. Even when others were speaking she made sure her expressions were animated. It was really quite painful watching a one-episode-wonder milking as much attention as possible while sat next to TWD royalty.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/03/2016 09:25

twll unfollow wd from FB

I hate spoilers so avoid any links and wd media stuff

BeyondTellsEveryoneRealFacts · 19/03/2016 11:49

Worst was when twd themselves shared the picture of dead bloody beth though! I expect spoilers from spoiler sites, but them doing it before it aired here was stupid!

TwllBach · 19/03/2016 12:16

I don't follow it on FB Sad I just read a guardian article about Andrew Lincoln... Not even specifically TWD although obviously it was mentioned. Went back to my newsfeed, related articles BOOM Sad
