So excited. It seems to have been a long time !

Ooh, evil Eli! He's not just a pretty face then eh? GrinI have no idea where this is going or how this will unravel, but Eli is either going down in flames dragging everyone behind him or he'll screw over every single person who has crossed him, ever. Is Frank Landau the party bloke Alicia apologised to? I get confused by names when they are thrown in from no where.

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 11/02/2016 22:24

I have googled and can confirm he is said party bloke. I've also managed to avoid any spoilers.

Eli will have Landau by the short & curlies soon enough...Smile

RomComPhooey · 11/02/2016 23:20

I knew the judge would be tipped off because Alicia was atypically over-detailed with Eli - if you were in on that kind of sting, you'd keep quiet surely?

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 11/02/2016 23:24

Agreed Rom, Alicia broke attorney client privilege very easily with Eli while she kept quiet over Howard with Diane. Not like her to be so careless. He's an evil genius that Eli...

Laquila · 11/02/2016 23:25

Can anyone tell me who the current State's Attorney is? Is it still Jimmy Castro? (Ugh)

The new investigator is indeed hot but this doesn't solve the problem of where the hell is Robin?!

wickedwaterwitch · 11/02/2016 23:25

She was panicking though re telling Eli about the judge - she thought she was being set up

Not like her though. That moment where you realise Eli told him is a real omg

wickedwaterwitch · 11/02/2016 23:26

Robin Shmobin, who cares?!!!

wickedwaterwitch · 11/02/2016 23:27

Someone remind me - did Peter get Frank Landau to make Alicia lose as states attorney? I can't remember

Laquila · 11/02/2016 23:32

I don't think we were shown that Peter had involvement but that might come up later. Oooh I hate Frank Landau.

Seriously though, Robin?! I NEED TO KNOW!

firsttimemum15 · 11/02/2016 23:34

I want to watch this series from the beginning. I don't have Netflix or anything. I have an ipad and sky etc. Where can I get series 1 to catch up

HalleLouja · 12/02/2016 06:16

I knew it was Eli that did it. He's on a mission. He knew what was going to happen on the cooking programme too.

No investigator tonight they just talked about him. Boo.

I think this is shaping up to be a good last series. Eli has central stage and is bringing down Peter. What is there not to like?

HalleLouja · 12/02/2016 06:18

Poor Lucca though. She thinks St Alicia is a bitch and so does Diane. I think Lucca is a fab addition. Much more fun a drinking partner than Kalinda.

RomComPhooey · 12/02/2016 06:39

I like it that Lucca has a weirdly detailed knowlegde about arcane bits of law and keeps surprising Alicia with good ideas for applying it. She has hidden depths.

TheGoodEnoughWife · 12/02/2016 06:47

I have been watching on Netflix from the beginning over last couple of months. Loving it!

Where are you all watching now? I have set it to record on More 4 but only had the first three episodes so far I think? Some of you seem to be further on?

Timetogetup0630 · 12/02/2016 18:56

More 4 Thursday nights. Last night was episode3

colouringinagain · 12/02/2016 22:15

Great Eli moment ShockGrin

I just wish I could remember all the ins and outs of the campaign and election politics - can anyone recap???

TensionWheelsCoolHeels · 18/02/2016 22:59

That was a bit 'meh' this week. Seemed more like a 1st episode setting us up for something to come.

RomComPhooey · 19/02/2016 15:54

I dunno. I quite liked Alicia shining a light on how crap bail court is - lots of poor American citizens ending up with criminal records for expedient reasons & being pressured to drop their not guilty pleas. I also liked Alicia with her new investigator and her proposition to Lucca. I think this season has promise.

northender · 19/02/2016 19:01

I think there have often been this type of episode early on in previous series, setting the scene still. Still enjoying it here anyway.

BagelGoesWalking · 19/02/2016 19:33

I don't mind watching "Denny" (as I still think of him!). He is very attractive, has a certain somethingGrin

Yy to still setting the scene

RomComPhooey · 19/02/2016 19:52

I really hope she torpedoes Peter's political career by the end of this season. It's the only outcome that will please me. If it doesn't happen, I'll feel swizzed like I did with Lost.

lorelei9 · 20/02/2016 16:04

well, I've just watched the 2 I missed while away. I thought they were both pretty good. But the latest one was quite shocking - is that really how the Illinois system works? I know in previous episodes they've shone light on many moral issues so this is one of them.

I do think it's a great shame that woman wouldn't dob her mother in! If Alicia can actually make even a tiny dent in getting fairer court processes, that would be a good outcome for me. I'm more concerned that Alicia becomes a hero rather than just torpedo Peter's career. Being a hero might involve exposing Peter's corruptness of course, but I'd like to see Alicia underline her achievements.

I haven't read all the posts but I guess everyone knows that this is the last season, which I think is right.

lorelei9 · 20/02/2016 16:05

colouringin - what bits do you want to recap, I'll see if I remember.

Travelledtheworld · 20/02/2016 22:13

I quite enjoyed this weeks episode but by far the best thing was Diane's ACE outfit. That bright coloured striped jacket, looked as if it was silk.

OP posts:
RomComPhooey · 21/02/2016 07:48

Oh yes, Diane's jacket was fabulous - the inly tume she missed a step was the awful hunting trip casual last season.

Also thought that Jackie was used to good advantage this week. The comment about her showing too much cleavage was funny.
