So excited. It seems to have been a long time !

I noticed last night that she has a large band on her forehead that's obviously part of her wig, and now I can't unsee it. When she scrunches up her forehead the top inch doesn't move.

Yes! I saw it last night and now it fascinates me!

While I'm going to be sad to see it go at least they're not making the same mistake Scandal and Greys are making carrying on in to sillyness

Trailer for next week looked good! I'm quite sad it's coming to the end though.

I thought last nights episode was good and is building up to the finale nicely. Don't know what I'll do when it ends

Was loving all the Eli action this week. Obviously he made sure he got the best lawyer he could.

Was the blonde lawyer on the other side the one who was pregnant and had to leave a few seasons ago?

What ever happened to the other investigator that went with Cary and Alicia when they set up a new firm? Robin I think she was called? Was it ever explained, as when they were looking for new investigators this series, I kept thinking they should just give her a call again!

I didn't know there was a thread on this! I have watched all the series so far and whilst I like the show and how good the supporting actors are, I just can't see what everyone else sees in Alicia. She is charmless, selfish, sulky... What is so great about her? I love Diane and David Lee though

Glad it's not just me really not finding any chemistry in the Alicia Jason thing. I've loved this prog but this series has not been great, though the trailer for the last four looked better! Would like to have had more Cary this series (and yes, I miss Finn!)

Does anyone know who the blonde lady was, the lawyer for the drone company? I got the impression we were really supposed to know but I can't remember her from any episodes before.

I thought it was a bit rich Alicia saying saracstically to peter about not leaving without another man lined up. I'm finding it painful watching her fawn all over....oh I've forgotten his name. Most of the series has been poor. I thought the scene with Alicia breaking down in front of Luca was well done, but I'm not sure how any of this can work out. It is pretty awful, the summation Alicia gave of her life and having no friends...I'd rather have seen her solidify potential friendships than go off with...oh his name is Jason, just remembered.

I feel like the writers have wanted us to assume a lot this series. Or they just lost interest.

Noticed some really clunky dialogue around Peter's indictment, I'm guessing they did that because they wanted to remind the audience of various facts. I could have done with a reminder like that for the blonde lawyer!

I think it would have been nice if they'd finished last season, let Alicia become State's Attorney and divorce Peter.

They really should have let Alicia become states attorney and cut Peter out of her life. The show is just tired now and Alicia is becoming so irritating, making the same mistakes over and over.

The wig drives me mad too. She looked so much better in earlier seasons.

Yup and she could have prosecuted him instead of the FBI! Cary and Diane could have defended him, whilst Alicia could have engaged David Lee to be her divorce lawyer. Far more interesting!

Young Blonde lawyer is David Lees niece I think. Alicia was made to hire her through nepotism when she would have preferred to have hired young brunette lawyer instead. Young blonde lawyer then turned out to be good but resigned to have a baby and get married.

Agree that Alicia has become pathetic this season, she could have been SA, achieved great things, made real friends etc. There aren't enough episodes for her to get back on track to being a strong character I think. I actually wonder if that's the end, she'll be back where she started?

As it is she's looking like she'll just put her life into this guy now. Also I thought her response to Zac and his GF abortion was ridiculous. He needed privacy and so did his GF. If that is what is meant to have ruined their relationship, I think less of her.

I watched the most recent episode on catch-up and forwarded through her scenes with the smug and tedious Jason. Thankfully there weren't many.

On the plus side, it was good to see the young lawyer again, and David Lee is always a delight. Peter and Eli are interesting characters too imo.

Overall, it's been a superb show with the exception of Kalinda's husband's storyline, and of course Jason. Shame there won't be a S8, with a different love interest for Alicia (assuming she needs one).

I did feel sorry for Cary though. He definitely had enough by the end.

Scarlet,, it's been great. I think losing Kalinda was huge. I think Diane and Cary have been wasted, both could do great things in the law.

I suppose one outcome for Alicia is she might decide to stop faffing with men and just forge ahead and get a life but with only five episodes left I can't see it.

It's also interesting that she's simply replaced drinking with Jason. Of course I understand her hitting rock bottom after what's happen re SA race, work etc but the fact that she looks to solve it wth a man is off putting and such a shame. I honestly wonder what the actors think of where the show has gone.

It really is a shame they got rid of Kalinda. I heard it was because the actors hated each other. I think it's about season 3 or 4 where Alicia and Kalinda were simply not in scenes together anymore. You'd think they could suck it up and be professionals for the sake of the show.

They've tried to replace Kalinda with that tedious lawyer (forget her name, she was the one who worked for Alicia's firm in her apartment), but she's such a boring character. She's just a cheerleader for Alicia and Jason getting together, and doesn't seem to have a mind of her own.

I'd watch the hell out of a Diane spin off. She's such an enjoyable character in the early seasons.

Agree about the abortion storyline being really bizarre. I've noticed lots of American shows are really pro-life. I can only think of a couple of shows where abortion wasn't treated as some massive, life changing drama.

Archie panjabi wanted to leave though. I thought Luca had potential but they've wasted it.

American shows do have an issue with abortion, Marc cherry on desperate housewives wanted lynette to abort her millionth child but they thought viewers wouldn't accept it. Alicia's issue was not being told though. I had seen Alicia as not stupid but that was a turning point and now I think, wtf?

It feels like different people wrote this season.

Did anyone just watch this? I found it confusing. I think there's only a few episodes left and now peters interfered with murder evidence? Seems random.

I don't think he had interfered with any evidence in the end? There are only 2 more episodes.....
