Anyone else watching? I am really enjoying it, and have either read more Dickens than I realised, or at least the right books.
I had always imagined Little Nell to be a bit younger though.

How many episodes left to go?

There are two more episodes to go; tonight and Sunday.

Just read in the Metro that the final extended episode in on Sunday. It will focus mainly on Miss Hav's upcoming nuptials.

Yikes! I'll have to watch it on catch up and avoid all media until I've seen it :)

Tonight is an embarrassment of riches: Dickensian followed by Ripper Street on amazon.

Just watched last nights episode again. When Bucket let Mrs C go I wept cried a little tear of joy. I'm going to be so sad when it finishes

It's surprising really how intriguing it is even when you already know the outcome!

Last episode tomorrow! We can already see Miss Havisham becoming "Miss Havisham". I wonder how she'll react to his nor turning up.

I feel sure that the BBC will commission a further series as last night we saw Oliver Twist For the first time. I was anticipating that moment. So plenty of scope for another story. What a treat it has been

Do we know why Miss Havisham gets stood up originally? I read the book 25 years ago and can't remember if it was mentioned why or was just a fact that her groom didn't show. I know Compeyson is married but surely he would go ahead and marry her for the money with no qualms so why wouldn't he show?

Compeyson will need to be stopped somehow but Jaggers and Matthew's efforts backfired. It's up to Arthur to save her but I wonder whether he will back down yet again.

Oliver was the little boy rescued by Bucket from Fagin and placed with the Bumbles. He asks for more gruel in the last minutes of Friday's epidode.

I always thought that he had never intended to marry her, just get money from her.

I'd like to see the Magwitch/Molly/Estella back story. It's only mentioned briefly in GE but seeing that would be a fab run on from this.

So many possibilities, it's a winning formula for sure.

Oh yes, to Wrayburn's story. And Mr Riah's from the same book.

(I know he's privileged and able and should just pull himself together and all that. But I actually feel really sorry for him.)
