11-16 yr old boys adore sponge bob. at least in an all boys school anyway where they don't have to pretend to be mature in front of girls.

the last week of school i had 30 thirteen year old singing along to 'Bob Esponja' because i make em watch it in Spanish.

FairytaleOfNewNORKSBRIDE · 30/12/2006 23:32

Pinky & The Brain is supposed to be for drunken students after the pubs have shut.

Don't you think Big Cook really wants to be Bob Mortimer - he dances just like Bob used to do on Shooting Stars.

Doodle-Do is great childrens TV.

sockmonkey · 31/12/2006 08:32

I want to add my name to the Chris Fan club. He is lovley. I watch Doodle Doo without the kids sometimes too. It's soooo funny.
I made DS1 some doodle doo gloves for christmas and he loves them. If Chris wants to come round while DH is out, then I could borrow them

VoodooBiltong · 02/01/2007 16:16

I also spit on those damned chucklebrothers, why dont they Pis* off to panto and leave cbeebies safe?

Bucketsofdynomite · 02/01/2007 18:29

Richard Herring's analysis of BCLC

VoodooBiltong · 02/01/2007 21:55

I forgot how much I love Mr Herring
'he wants the moon on a stick, he does'

and his partner, the one with the quiff (looked a bit like Chandler from friends when he did the reminiscing about his teenaged years...)

Bucketsofdynomite · 03/01/2007 14:22

Heehee DH and I used to watch them every Sunday when we was courtin'. Do you remember their sitcoms based on crap puns? eg Rotten to the Corrs - Johnny Rotten shares a house with The Corrs and is generally unpleasant with ensuing hilarity.

suzycreamcheese · 03/01/2007 14:26

you sound like a brill teacher kiskidee!
i didnt get to the pantomine, everybody say awww..
and chris that wasn't me at the stagedoor giving you glitter encrusted telephone number on tie-dye card...

MuminBrum · 06/01/2007 22:17

Oh, I love the concept of "officelicious"!! Where I work, any man who isn't actually deformed is absolutely swooned over. But the divine Chris Corcoran is definitely genuinelicious.

suzycreamcheese · 06/01/2007 22:27

muminbrum like the name!
brum..is he your main man, with chris second?

puffling · 06/01/2007 22:47

What's the attraction with doodle doo man? He is Welsh and seems quite ordinary looking. He also doesn't seem remotely interested in his little puppet friends. How about Archie the Inventor, a much nobler character.

lissielou · 06/01/2007 23:00

but he's lovely, and not uber-sexy, i wouldnt feel too intimidated by him ................................................................................................................................................drool

suzycreamcheese · 07/01/2007 12:31

puffling his charms are many and plenty and listed in previous posts here

archie the inventor that is a different league..we pretend he lives behind the tiles in our bathroom..archie are you finished yet, and yes he'll be staying there!

TMay · 07/01/2007 14:31

suzycreamcheese · 07/01/2007 15:10

nappyaddict · 09/01/2007 12:01

nappyaddict · 09/01/2007 12:07

hmmmm i never noticed that they use a lot of the same footage in bclc ...

sunnywong · 23/01/2007 10:51

Hmmmm....suzycreamcheese, sometimes I think you're her. Especially when people respond to you as just suzy

Lynn3 · 24/01/2007 12:48

I can't believe it!!! Have just joined mumsnet and have found other people who think the same way I do. I thought I was a bit weird - I didn't like Chris at first, but he grew on me so much I found myself daydreaming about him telling me "that was fun"... and as for Boogie Pete's legs - have spent ages analysing whether it is camera angle, or funny trousers and finally decided that he is mis-shapen. Should have just read what you guys thought! Thank you all for making me feel normal.

Bucketsofdynomite · 25/01/2007 21:41

Suzycreamcheese, you're effin' nuts!
Did anyone see Boogiebeebies last week with the rocknroll baby song? Flippin creepy now I can imagine Pete's XXXXXL Totsbots(although was pleased to see clothie toddler in the video footage.)
