nearlythree - its all to the power of doodledoo, your dd2 has great taste makes me all christmassy and content

cece · 14/12/2006 22:03

Doodle Doo is fab.

Absolutely hilarious. I love it when he does the commentary of toddlers painteing or sticking etc. Child A adds more yellow paint to the page of yellow. Chris says "that's right A add a bot more yellow"

LOL

DS shouts "Mummy DOODLE DO is on whenever it comes on as I laugh so much.

Also annoy DS and DD by calling it doodley doo - drives them mad

VoodooKumquat · 14/12/2006 22:20

yes i LOVE that commentary too!

Shinyhappy · 15/12/2006 11:20

Hello, I'm new to mumsnet, only found it because I was googling Chris Corcoran from Doodle Do! I'm so pleased I'm not the only mum having impure thoughts about Kids' TV presenters, I can rest easy now.

I was watching this morning and sudenly remembered that I even had a dream about him last night!

I was going to post a picture, but can't work out the code for this board.

suzycreamcheese · 15/12/2006 12:39

hey shiny happy, good of you to join the chris worshippers here, hey if he googles himself he'll find us all...my attic first chris it was floored specially!
btw your name sounds a bit like someone elses i've seen here, and there is raging new / old yawn debate going on... only saying this cause somone mistook me for another yesterday!

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 12:41

snig · 15/12/2006 12:48

suzycreamcheese · 15/12/2006 12:48

mmmm that was fun...just before me lunch too! luverly

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 12:51

pete(?) is like a man-child

suzycreamcheese · 15/12/2006 12:56

I think petes body is out of proportion imo used to think it was his t-shirt !! but its upper to lower ratio aint right

VoodooKumquat · 15/12/2006 13:00

doodle doo was great today when chris told stick off for pushing the fairy cakes off!!!

I also like the strangley hypnotising music of the sand worms...bit Britney-Spears-with-snake, TBH...

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 13:05

lol, i'm really tempted to email chris's agent and post a link to this thread just to let him know how ahem well respected he is lewd

lillypad · 15/12/2006 13:15

Chris is cute - fact - but, if you saw him out, you wouldn't really look twice would you? It's worrying that he is made all the more attractive to the MS collective by his nonchalent line of patter with a couple of bloke's hand and the fact that he appears to live under floorboards. I don't think he could live up to our expectations in real life as I personally would need him to behave as he is in Doodle-do at home in order to feel aroused!! Oh, dear, I've said too much....! (fblush)

lillypad · 15/12/2006 13:16

I met MN collective of course - thank you, mulled wine, you are having the required effect!

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 13:19

but he is a comedian therefore naturally funny and good with kids and non-threatening...... hmmmmm

lillypad · 15/12/2006 13:29

And he's got twinkly eyes, which is always good.

VoodooKumquat · 15/12/2006 13:30

email the agent lissiemas!!!!!!

that is very very funny...

he appeals more to the mummies than the babies...

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 13:37

Hi, I frequent a website called mumsnet and we thought you might be interested in a thread that we have started in honour of chris coracan here it is. We are not a group of hormonal women but chris has made CBeebies MUCH more enjoyable

VoodooKumquat · 15/12/2006 13:38

VoodooKumquat · 15/12/2006 13:39

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 13:50

DumbledoresFairy · 15/12/2006 13:56

If you have really sent that email, I had better get my name onto the list of fans as I have been singing Chris' praises (and using him to lighten my day!) since Doodle Do first began! My children all know I fancy the pants of him and let me know when the programme is on so I can watch it!

DumbledoresFairy · 15/12/2006 13:57

Fancy the pants off him, not of. Don't want to appear illiterate!

merrylissiemas · 15/12/2006 13:58
