... was at it's funniest yesterday... i usually find it a little irritating but yesterdays was really really funny... it was set in norway (i guess due to blokey wearing a viking helmet and plaits to match) the song which they sang about the prince stuck in the castle was hilarious... anyone else see it... they even gopt a reference to i'm a celebrity get me out of here!

very very funny (i'm really sad aren't i?!

oh Chris is lovely and funny.
I like the episode where he puts a blindfold on the best [festivedrool]

MrsSpoon · 13/12/2006 22:39

DS2 likes this and I like it too, however I find it difficult to watch a grown man talking to hands.

thewoodlandfairy · 13/12/2006 22:44

he can't sing though can he?

suzycreamcheese · 13/12/2006 22:49

mrs s - you are in for a long pre-school tv time; man talkin to hand puppets that was fingerbobs, this is in a different class m'dear

MrsSpoon · 13/12/2006 23:14

suzy, Fingerbobs was far more believeable, although that might have had something to do with being a preschooler myself at the time.

thewoodlandfairy · 13/12/2006 23:24

yoffi lifts a finger and a mouse is there
yoffi lifts another and....[forgot the rest!]

suzycreamcheese · 13/12/2006 23:36

i thought fingerbobs was a real yawn and probably started my aversion to men w/ beards and polo necks!
and they didn't tell you how to make groovy glittery mountains and such.. its a gem and no one can disagre ok?

VoodooKumquat · 14/12/2006 15:17

its really funny to read this thread and experience the passion for doodledoo...

Chris has got a good voice, and I think its improvised too as sometimes he has to think on his feet, and the spider/gloves sometimes create problems by dropping things or suggesting unscripted ideas...

an awful cartoon Ive recently seen is Pinky and the Brain - - I just dont see the need for it,

I love Balamory, and hate the creepy storytime house-with-face thing, with the grey cat puppet and the odd bloke, the theme 'poem' says there will be 'fear and tears, and laughter' weird for a kids show, surely...

suzycreamcheese · 14/12/2006 17:31

voodoo - mr mopple, is the house/face combo made to induce kiddie and adult nightmares I think or to make you turn off telly and do something more interesting ala why dont you?

cornetjo · 14/12/2006 19:46

For those of you who are fans of Chris, he is doing Panto in Porthcawl (South Wales) this year. He is playing Buttons in Cinderella, should be fun.

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 14/12/2006 19:50

That is soo unfair. Why didnt he want to do it in North London??

I like the tortoise and the hair one best, for script content.
And that one with the cuppaballini family.
And did you see him doing Elvis?

VoodooKumquat · 14/12/2006 19:57

cant believe I missed all those ones!!!!!
I love it when he pops up through the attic door hole

poppiesinalinewithtinsel · 14/12/2006 20:05

Did you see the one recently when Chris was lying down and one of the 'spiders' was sitting on his lap. I sat there thinking... "ooo someone has got their hand between his legs to do that" He didn't seem to mind though!

suzycreamcheese · 14/12/2006 20:06

hey, thats valuable info cornetjo! I will be christmassing ? in shrewsbury / mouseville and am due night out, wales isn't far oh oh oh its all falling into place...its fate, and I told ya he winks at me! xxx

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 14/12/2006 20:08

You wont be xmassing in Shrewsbury if it carries on flooding!

suzycreamcheese · 14/12/2006 20:18

ha ha mustrunnakedthroughthesnow..its just outside the town!!
your name reminds me of 'take me dancing naked in the rain' which i used to sing w/ baby ds in our old garden, he was naked & I wished I was!! the neighbours loved us!!

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 14/12/2006 20:30

Ah, blue Pearl? Think I was studying then, but cant remember what level.

My Mum is just a bit out too.

suzycreamcheese · 14/12/2006 20:33

Blue pearl rings a bell, it wasn't at time of the song just what I used to do!
Have you seen thread about nicknames and why? no one seems interested though

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 14/12/2006 20:37

Cant say as I've seen it, no! Prob very obvious why I need to run more, given the fact i'm 3 stone over weight. Snow wont help though!! I assume you're Suzywong? If yo are, I nearly met you once at an NCT sale in the Cufos, but didnt know which one you were

suzycreamcheese · 14/12/2006 20:44

er no you're wong...did see a few of her posts and thought that we were distinct enough..sorry for confusion maybe if everyone thought I was her I wouldn't kill all these threads!!

mustrunmorenakedthroughthesnow · 14/12/2006 20:46

Was wondering how cream cheese made it a xmas name!

nearlythree · 14/12/2006 20:58

I get very emotional over Doodle Do (really). IN March dd2 was really ill in hospital with a weird viral thing and it was Doodle Do that she eventually woke up to watch!

I think the glove things are a bit phallic when they talk tbh.

VoodooKumquat · 14/12/2006 21:02

the nickname thread is empty because again they are all arguing on a cod is evil/welove cod thread. Yawn.

morningpaper · 14/12/2006 21:04

I LOVE doodle-do

I LOVE the Chris man - he is sooo natural

and his trousers v. tight

He can pop up through my attic door ANY TIME

suzycreamcheese · 14/12/2006 21:46

mustrunmore - it would be christmas cream cheese of course! lol; maybe others think i'm suzywong too is it the done thing to check w/ her?

yawn on the cod thing too, think it was mistake really but all oldie / new stuff has life of its own now wondered why no-one has bothered much with my battle to save the planet from 98p foil trays or the interesting name thread, could've been a nice way of finding out about each other ....

morning paper -get yer lid down & paws off, theres a que here
