Yes MrsJamin and Nonono I'm spitting nails, Angry Angry FFS GLEB IS TO BLAME for getting rid of a MUCH better dancer than Katie, who was NOT perfect I saw her shuffling her feet , and if I did then we all did.

But I bet she can't wait to not be in the arms of sweaty .Gleb be rid of big head Gleb.

I actually felt sorry for Katie who of course knew that Anita is a better dancer.

In spite of myself I am pleased that Katie and Anton got through. I have always had a soft spot for Anton and knowing that this is his last season... it is quite a nice ending for him to be in the final. And Katie is pure class. Love them together.

I did love some of Anita's dances though. Her paso was a highlight of the season, and the one where she was dressed up as Maleficent was very cool.

Jay is still my favourite.

The spoiler did indeed spoil it for me, I guessed she meant that Katie was through - so in context the 'she' was easy enough to guess. I once caved and looked at the spoiler but when commenting on the thread was very aware not to give anything away before it was aired - it's just good manners.

Tough call. Anita is overall better, but that's the rules of the dance-off. I don't know why they chose to do the salsa, especially as Len didn't like it, and it all comes down to him if it's a close call. On the basis of the DO, Katie deserved to go through. I don't think either of them had a realistic chance of winning, so overall I'm not that bothered. Helen should be the 4th person in the final anyway.

Not sorry Anita went. I didn't warm to her at all. But in the actual dance off IMO Katie and Anton upped their game . And judging purely on that dance which is what the judges are supposed to do then the right decision was made.

The hint was a spoiler for me. It was obvious and it's only tv of course, but not very considerate. I don't think it was malicious but her response was dreadful.

At least say sorry, don't send horrid pms.

I like them all, was sorry to see Anita go, I think she has been so game. I would have liked her to be in the final really.

We are going out next Saturday night. Hooo!

Sockqueen - I'm very envious, I'd love to go to see the tour, but there aren't any venues near me - the nearest would be London and that would add about another £120 onto the ticket price to get there Sad

Was also a spoiler for me, though I busied myself wondering if one of the better three had somehow ended up in the dance-off against Katie and then Anton's 'journey' had got them through....

Sorry to see Anita go, she has literally thrown herself into everything.

Brendan's tour is coming here in February, am trying to find someone to go with as DH not interested and DD is still a bit young for a late night (plus am pretty sure there's an age restriction, unless I've made that up). Brendan and me are like Marmite, I like to watch him and then he does that smug mouth thing and I go Hmm. But am tempted, especially as people are thinking he may be done with Strictly (why do we think this?).

Grin at NPP. I was glad when he went out. Has it been confirmed that it's Anton's last series? I haven't seen anything about it other than on this thread.

I think it's time the judging panel had a bit of a shake-up. I can't bear simpery Darcy and Bruno has turned into a caricature of himself. I'd love to see Arlene back instead of Darcy, and one or more of the ex-pros (Karen Hardy, or Lilia Kopilova, or Ian Waite, or Erin Boag) replace Bruno.

Karen Hardy would be fab on the panel. I really like her, and she could give Len a run for his money with her ballroom knowledge. There is a nasty rumour swirling around that Len may leave and Anton will take his place, please dont let this happen.

Oh so so disappointed in that result, especially as Anita's dance was far more difficult than anything Katy could ever hope to achieve The judges have always undermarked Anita and Gleb I just loved his choreography.
I loved the paso doble one of my favourites ever and as you can see from my name I am a huge fan!
Why did the judges backtrack and pick Katy after so much criticism earlier ?yes it was slightly better but not that much of an improvement. Anita was really brave and much more dynamic than Katy I really didn't get that decision.
