I didn't know that Vernon is married to Tess Daly. I know him from presenting the game show Family Fortunes. Just about recognised him tonight. He critised Jay's lack of characterisation/expression in his dances other than the jive.

Vernon used to be a model - that's how he met Tess, coz she was a model too. He was Radio 1 presenter and now has a show on Xfm I think. He's also presented lots of game shows.

They are a perfect match IMO.

He also had a rather awful scandal where he was texting women behind Tess's back a few years back. Post babies. She almost left him but decided to stay. It was horrendous for her.

Needless to say I think he's a dick.

I have a 22yr old Fred! Not named after the Fred though but a nod to dh's Yorkshire roots.

Tell you what that song sung by Jodie Prenger at the end of ITT had both me AND dd1 in tears. Amazing emotional singing from her, I didn't know that she sings like that.

I liked the way the participants were sitting drinking apple juice in a 'bar' and the feathers before they walked on to sit with our Zoe, she' s a real all rounder!

I thought he was sniffy about Jay too. Plus sitting between Sarah H & Jodie P who are both natural made him come across as even more of an airhead.

Jodie won that Nancy thing a few years back, didn't she? I liked that, glad she seems to have done well.

Also liked Craig saying he enjoys coming on ITT because he can be himself. And he was rather nicely bitchy about Bruno

Looking at DS informed me that Jodie Prenger actually won The Biggest Loser before she went onto I'd Do Anything. I did not know that.
She lost 8 stone (a fair amount of it has gone back on in the last decade but by no means all).

I think she might be quite a good SCD contestant if she doesn't have another engagement at the time.

He also pops up from time to time on the American football which DH bizarrely loves and DH says he comes across as a total Alan Partridge on it and DH has to mute him. All chirpy teeth. Ugh.

I remember him from years before he became famous on a documentary about up and coming models. He's the most gormless, fake, cheesy presenter. Thank god you never see him on TV much these days.

Vernon and family have lived in Buckinghamshire for yonks and yet his accent gets more and more Bolton as time goes on.
